  1. It's those layers and layers of trauma that make me feel like I'm stuck on a deserted island and everyone else has a boat or is on their own islands. I can see you... it's just hard to reach you. (Not exclusive to the forum, though.) I don't seem to share too many interests with others, either.
  2. I want a job that let's me do what I want with the minimum amount of work put into it, that's why I currently work nights. The pay isn't great but I can at least do some things that I want whilst doing pretty much nothing all night. And I can also do activities during the day when I'm not alseep.
  3. I do actually, it's not in this apartment because it's pretty unwieldy. It's an old Russian one, it's not particularly powerful but seeing the rings on Saturn was pretty cool. Also moongazing and seeing the craters all over it is kinda wild.
  4. Well, I tried to. 9/10 times I'd end up crying my eyes out in the middle of the night and have to go home.
  5. Nope, now let us keep it that way.
  6. I know barely anything about my family. Nobody talked, but given how fucked up everyone is it's probably nothing good.
  7. 13, it's my birthday. Thus as such it brings me good luck when it brings other people bad luck, especially when my birthday falls on a Friday.
  8. Nah though apparently one happens in Spring in a neighbouring city. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.
  9. Anatidaephobia, the fear that a duck is watching you.
  10. It used to be silence but in recent weeks I've been putting on Nobody playlists or The Talos Principle OST.
  11. I'm 100% going to get a Carnyx at some point.
  12. Nah, I mostly just feel sad for what younger me was going through at the time.
  13. Come to me 'Tides of Terraria' update so I can once again lose myself into another world for a little while.
  14. Hitting someone a little too hard in retaliation or something probably, idk. It felt like I'd do the smallest things and other kids would just burst into tears. Like some girl's lunchbox hinge came apart because I touched it and she started wailing like it was the end of the world even though it literally just clipped back together again. I don't really recall anything super mean.
  15. It would indeed be on the complete opposite side of the planet.
  16. It was some eps of The Amazing World of Gumball last night.
  17. Some sort of 8-legged monstrosity I'm sure.
  18. Now who would do such a thing, spiders are awesome. Awesomely... tasty.
  19. It was back in 2011 so I can't remember exactly how it was besides enjoying it. A page I found describes it as this: 'The same book details a recipe: the spiders are tossed in a mixture of MSG, sugar, and salt; crushed garlic is fried in oil until fragrant, then the spiders are added and fried alongside the garlic until "the legs are almost completely stiff, by which time the contents of the abdomen are not so runny."' Turns out people started eating them there out of desparation due to food shortages and they became some kind of delicacy now.
  20. I actually had a savoury crispy tarantula leg on a trip once many years ago, it was indeed exceptionally tasty as it'd been expertly seasoned and spiced.
  21. It was some gummy bears and hearts, it's a nice little morale boost in the middle of the night. Though I try to avoid eating too many as fillings are real expensive. I think I'd actually give candied spider legs a try.
