Hi! I bet some of you have seen me around the forums, asking people to draw my ponysona Sweets. Well... I'm getting sick of it. I feel strange not giving something back. This is why I'm opening 12 art trades. What do I want? I want Sweets, plain and simple. She can be drawn anyway and with other ponies. She can be drawn flying or sleeping. I leave things like that to your imaginations! Here's Sweets. She normally has a yellow striped scarf around her neck, just saying ^^ I made her in a pony creator on Facebook so I would at least have the reference. I love your voice, you have that hush to it that makes it perfect for Butterscotch. However, he also has a girly aspect, making him sound a little more feminine. If you could train your voice to go a little higher, then you'd be uber-perfect! I also wanna try to do some voice acting, but my voice is pretty strange- I can't do much with it.

There aren't many good or interesting shows to watch anymore. Gumball on CN: It sucks. It's nothing but a piece of random parts put together to make shit. Fanboy and Chum Chum: It was just... Eck! So, two kids dress up like superheroes, have no parents and get into shenanigans? What the hell? A lot of people are saying Looney Toons Show is bad. I personally like it. It's got interesting characters (Interesting because of how they've redone some characters to fit in with the others) in an urban environment (Which I thought was cool). Bugs and Daffy are roommates and are neighbors with Yosemite Sam, Witch Hazel and her son Gossamer, and Bugs' pet is Taz. Elmer Fudd is a news reporter and Foghorn Leghorn owns his own corporation. I think it's pretty fuckin' awesome how they've taken characters EVERYONE and their mother know, and putting them in this setting to let their antics get them into trouble. (There's one episode where Daffy gets plastic surgery... Come on! I thought it was funny!) And let's not forget how Lola is super obsessed with Bugs now (Ok, I liked her better in Space Jam) and Daffy's girlfriend Tina (a remake of an old love interest in one cartoon) is a really tough but still feminine duck with a New York/Jersey accent.

They are not batponies. These creatures are called 'Nightshades.' they are essentially pegasi with bat wings, but consider themselves their own unique race. The dwell in caves, where their strange eyes can see far better in the dark. They came to be when a hapless unicorn took a four bats and tried to to turn them into ponies. It didn't turn out so well, giving them a gruesome look. Over the years, this same unicorn molded and modified them, and until they had more pony attributes than bat(Though they used to be rather fuzzy and still pretty bat like, but didn't have an extreme grotesque form). From there, these beings found romance with normal ponies (Normally pegasi), and the population grew. When the rule of Celestia came around, the light of her bright sun caused them to flee into the EverFree forest, where they would not be blinded. They followed Luna closely, since she brought the night, and even assisted her when she became Nightmare Moon. Upon her banishment, they were closely watched for treason, and their stigma became "Evil." which is quite the contrary. Their appearance may be strange, but they have different personalities, just like any other pony. The Nightshades we see today are mostly pony, their pegasi roots generally hanging in strong, and keeping their bat wings. With Luna's return, many chose to serve her again, but a few began to shy away, knowing what had happened last time. Their history is fairly interesting, but their diet is pretty unique. They don't eat hay or grass normally (Not much nutritional value). They eat fruit and... Changelings. That's right, because of their bat genes, the enjoy insects (Or insect like ponies...). They eat the smaller Changelings, which usually feed three or four Nightshades at a time. The few that chose to serve Luna are the only ones left in that area. The majority of the fairly moderate population left when the Changelings did-following their main food supply.

You want to draw ponies? Well, I find a good place to start is just by analyzing the characters form the show. Get some screenshots, some reference pics of them... Just to kind of get a feel for the actual proportions and body type of a pony. Also, go to dragoart.com they have a lot of really good tutorials on how to draw some ponies. The Mane 6 plus the princesses and the CMC too. DeviantArt is also a great place to look for ponies. There are a lot of artists who have done their own guides to drawing ponies or drew references for the bodies and heads and such. The internet is an artist's closest friend nowadays.

First of all... WHY are you doing it for FREE?! Definitely start doing some commissions, set up a PayPal... Something! Second, would you do my OC Sweets? I would love to see your twist on her look. The only thing she doesn't have in this pic is her scarf. Just a striped one, no biggie! I would so appreciate this though!

UPDATE, FOLKS: I think I'm a little too nice, but... I'm not looking for people who can play instruments. That's great, but... I'm looking for a Brony who can mix music on the computer. Synthetic instruments and all. You're all awesome, and I appreciate you volunteering your time for this though I'm not really looking for an orchestra, heheh. Thanks again, bt... Yea. Wow, lol, I never thought I would meet someone else particular about the way they sleep, either. I don't blame you... He scares me too 0_0; I got really paranoid after reading about it, and now I can't sleep with a window or shade open.
