  1. Personally, I prefer to have external pain than have internal pain, if you know what I mean.
  2. Just like he said, when you speak a roman language, your key board as keys to put those : é è ê ç â ë ô à û I think that's pretty much all those there are in French. If there's any others, you can be sure we don't use them often Oh, and I think there's an option to unlock them on your key board if you go into the options of your computer. Our teacher showed it to us when we wrote in Spanish.
  3. I got 34. I'm 17 actually and to top it, I look 12. I guess I'm just too serious for people my age
  4. I'm learning tons of languages, so of course I know useless sentences! Well, it's more that I know how to build useless sentences. I could say that I know how to say ''I'm a carrot'' in Norwegian (Jeg er un gulerod, put a bar on the o), just because I can. In Italian, I can build small sentences, including completely useless ones, same in Spanish but I can do more complex ones. ''Sono una carota'' ''Soy una zanahoria'' Yup, just because I can . ''Une fessée'', it's feminine It is used almost exclusively when talking about punishing young kids. It is often used as such in expressions. It's still weird that you would learn that as first vocabulary, though :\ Things like ''fromage'', ''chien'' or even ''fusée'' are used more often. ''Tu es une poule mouillée.'' would be the right way to spell it, actually It's an expression to say that someone is a scaredy cat.
  5. Chemistry. I don't get it for the life of me and I don't know why I chose that class! (Should have took physics... They don't have a laboratory report to do at each class...) Also, the teacher is cruel .
  6. I'm a transguy. I never identified as female, to be honest. It's just not my thing. I'm definitely male, I just have somethings to fix...
  7. I'm actually looking forward to that, honestly. Having a child without the help of another person is something I wish was possible. Since I cannot have a child, I would love it if this was possible. I know some of you talk about adoption, but, when people like you are told ''you're a the bottom of the list, you might have a child in ten years, if you're lucky.'', you don't have much hope for this :\. The adoption system certainly needs improvement.
  8. I'm on the line about terraforming, too, because I fear that it would take away from the uniqueness of the planets (or moons, for that matter). But, I guess we would have to do something to make it habitable. I just hope we don't end up with Earth two.
  9. I agree. My take on this is, if we take money to go to Mars, that same money won't be used on war. Also, if we really try to terraform Mars, that same technology could be used to depoluate Earth, because, if we can form a planet, than we can clean one, right?
  10. (So to cold is a verb? Now to figure out what it means...) I'm certain that humanity will colonize Mars sooner or later, but I just think that 2025 might be a little early . I'm sure some people will want to go, if just for the sake of being immortalized as one of the first few to go on Mars. I personally don't, though. Humanity might have explored Earth, but I didn't even leave Quebec since I was born . I need to go to (northern) Europe, not Mars!
  11. I think we would have known by now .
  12. I do have a lot of them on my bed, but I don't need them to sleep or anything (I never did, anyway). They're just there to decorate my bed. I have a dog, a cat (who has creepy eyes, so I make him face the wall at night so I won't glimpse at him at night and have a heart attack xD), a tiger, a greymon plushie and a playboy rabbit (I won it at an amusement park, okay xD). Maybe, there are too much plushies on my bed...? Nah, there can't be too much
  13. Even then, it seems a bit boring :\ If it ends up being successful, I hope they have a lot of way to communicate with Earth because otherwise, being alone with a handful of people for the rest of your life would likely be depressive. Seems like they want to do a reality show or something with it to help paying the funds. I really hope the guy on the news is wrong when he says that it could be a morbid show on which we see them die one after the other, because that would be one hell of a lot depressing... I mean, just look at their faces on the volunteers' list.
  14. There's no way I'm volunteering for this . (I'm not suicidal) There's no snow on Mars! And there's no Europe on Mars either! I just love my winters, that is all. (I can't stand anything over 26°C).
  15. I swear I though it was a joke or something when I heard it on the radio. I don't think we can do it right now, to be honest. Ah, come on, I enjoyed it It's just bad when you lose your gloves and the car won't start up. -40°C is not that bad .
  16. Yes! Sometimes I use google translator for words I don't know (or don't remember) but it gave me ''probe'', which I'm pretty sure has nothing to do with the context...
  17. First off, I need to say that I can't believe there isn't already a topic about this. Okay, so I was in the bus last Thursday and I heard about this on the radio. Apparently, sometime in 2025, they want to send people to colonize Mars, before having even set foot on it. The thing though, is that it'll only be a one way flight, meaning they're supposed to live there and not return. Here is the site where they explain it all: http://www.mars-one.com/ I'm a bit skeptic about it, to be honest. One would think that we'd try to colonize the moon before trying Mars, no? After all, we didn't do it yet and it's way closer to us than Mars. Second, we can't know for sure what Mars is all about because we didn't send anyone there yet. Yes, we had pictures and sent ''things'' (sorry, I can't find how it's called in English :\ ) to know what is was like up close and all that, but no one living ever went there. Sending people there to not return seems like sending them to their death (they did volunteer, but still...). I don't think colonizing Mars is really a bad idea, but maybe it's a bit too soon to do it. Anyway, what is your opinion on this?
  18. Go to Finland! I already dream of living there! They have the best education in the world if you wish to have kids. Helskinki is a really beautiful city. (Also, Canada is not as good as it seems, I'm serious :\)
  19. Ashfur, for the same reason people above said. Oh, and Darkstripe! He almost killed my favorite character (sorreltail). How dare he try to kill a kitten! Seriously, he was just a blind follower of Tigerstar, without actually thinking or anything. I also dislike Lionblaze, but not that much. I feel he's bland and too arrogant. Dovewing is also pretty bland and annoying, and just too perfect. Well, the newer cats are quite bland, to say the least :\
  20. I'm actually depressed at the moment. The worse is, I know why I'm depressed and I know what could rid me of depression, but I can't have it now . I have an appointment in February with a psychiatrist, which I'm really looking forward to. I never really experienced depression before this year (well, 2013, that is), so I guess I'm not prone to it naturally.
  21. Well, season 3 being an abomination is your opinion. I personally liked it a whole lot, even considered it the best season. Season 4 is incredible, but I don't understand how it could change my opinion on a complete different season.
  22. Good designs, I also got my copy of Animal crossing fairly recently. I personally wouldn't have the patience to do it You talk to Sable everyday and eventually she'll let you use it.
  23. The episodes have all been fantastic since the fifth one! This season is off to a really good start. Rarity may be my least favorite character, but I always loved her episodes for some reason. Everything was perfect here, and let's not forget Coco! I love Coco
  24. No, I don't smoke. I never wanted to and I never will. Now that we know how it affects our health (and the health of people you smoke around), there really is no reason start smoking. I have seen that the people who say only young people start smoking are pretty much right. Those who aren't in their teens or early 20s and have never smoked mostly don't see a need to, because peer pressure to do so is gone. The peer pressure to stop smoking, however, is pretty darn big. Also, no, it doesn't look cool. It only does for the teens that are hanging out with smokers, the same ones who later beg to be ridden of this addiction.
