I'm single, and yes I'm happy being single. I do not know exactly where my life is going to take me, and I am not financially or mentally prepared to start a family. I currently do not have the time to devote to a girlfriend (or a social life). Perhaps in a few years.

Burglars here sometimes have knives, so it's not the first time I was wondering what would happen if I pulled a kitchen knife, struggle, and accidentally kill the burglar. Self-defense in this country does not work like the United States. It is much, much harder to get away with killing somebody even under self-defense, and it would cause significant drama and attention in my neighborhood etc, so I was always wondering what would happen if I just pulled a shovel and buried the guy in my yard. The guy wasn't supposed to be in my house, I don't know him and he doesn't know me, so if I just bury him in the middle of the night...? I don't really know. But I think it'd make my morning relaxations in the yard far less relaxing for the rest of my life, if it were so. Though for the record if that ever happens, I seriously doubt I'd actually try to hide it (maybe if I didn't suffer any wound during the process I'd wound myself to make the struggle not look one-sided).

My name is rather uncommon, as it's actually more common as a family name. I used to dislike it because it always struck me as childish-sounding, and when I read the Harry Potter books when I was young, I always thought the name "James Potter" was really cool, it sounded strong, mature and resilient, and I wished I were called James. Though with time I've learned to be satisfied with it.

There is no easy way to protect the site from DDoS attacks. We of course appreciate donations and we use them to improve our servers, but not only would we likely require to make our own forum software or otherwise use one that's built to withstand them (IPB is not), the mechanisms behind DDoS protection is not something we can purchase ourselves without an industrial allowance (it involves having many, many servers, and performing something known as load balancing between them, and even then it's sometimes not enough, with even Riot Games and Blizzard sites and services going down to DDoS attacks). There are, of course, DDoS protection services that can be purchased, but DDoS attacks are so few it would be a very significant waste of funds. All it takes for a DDoS attack to be mitigated is the question of how quickly we are alerted to it and how quickly we react.

Assuming that your text does not appear malformed while typing but only after being sent, your browser is not using UTF-8 and seems to be ignoring the on-page directive. As Jeric asked, what is your browser + version number?

I skipped High School a lot. And I mean, a lot. During tenth grade, I sometimes only showed up for one or two days a week, as I was way too engrossed in my internet activities, unbeknownst to my parents. I would hide in the neighbor's garden reading a book until the car left, and then use my keys to get in. On the days I was in school, instead of typing down what the teacher was saying, I plugged in a netstick and went to town. When it finally got out that instead of attending lessons I was working on programming projects, I was "honorably expelled" (had a long talk with the counselor and we agreed that I can finish school at a later point. She never said it or even hinted it but I knew in my guts that if I continued for even one more week I would be expelled.) I brought up every single project I could think of that I worked on, sent it to the army, and was drafted a year earlier than my intended draft date into the intelligence corps. If I get through this unit without a hitch, what it could put on my resume, I wouldn't need a high school degree, and possibly neither university. I'm a risk taker.

I was about to say about how I'm probably in the lower count. I play very few games and don't find most mainstream games very captivating. Then I look to my right to see a complete collection of every single novel and comic book about World of Warcraft. I look behind me and see Cataclysm and Warlords of Draenor posters on my walls. Then I look at my other monitor and realize I'm on my character running in circles in my Garrison with the unique Lord of Blackrock title which is attained by the current team that holds the #1 spot in the Challenge leaderboards. Yeah, okay, I guess I should be around the 30. Or past. Does obsession with one game count...? I somehow doubt this poll will factor in the obsessiveness in the caliber me and my friends employ... Apparently I'm a 20.

Sounds like an ISP issue rather than World of Warcraft. Latency issues isn't really Blizzard's end; it means that your ISP is throttling World of Warcraft, quite possibly. Check with them for causes of lag.

This thread doesn't seem very active, so I doubt I'll be able to find somebody I can geek over Blackrock Foundry with. My guild cleared 10/10 (Blackhand flexi was tougher than every boss up to Ko'ragh Mythic except Brackenspore) flexi and we're 9/10 Heroic, and don't even plan on touching Blackhand heroic this reset because we know there's no chance we'll kill him. Our main competitors are no doubt going to try and finish Highmaul Mythic and it's imperative (heh) that we get the realm first on Imperator!
