No, the characters are: The guy who already made it big in the crime world and made it out with his freedom (the rich guy); that guy's best friend, Trevor, who is a psychopath (the guy who burned down the house); and the gang-banger in a post gang-banger world (the black guy). That's how Game Informer put it.

From what they've said, and I'm a bit wary of this, is that you'll be able to switch between them instantaneously. You'll be able to just press a button, and you'll switch to a different character, going about their daily lives. The swap is instant, you don't have to go back to your safe-house. According to Game Informer, they witnessed a mission, where one of them repelled down a building and broke a window, then they got the opportunity to switch to different character, who was sniping.

Well you're in luck, because they've already announced that you'll be able to switch between the characters freely. They will do heists together, and you can switch between each of their parts in it. You can also switch between them at any time between missions.
  4. I'm going to stick to my theory of they have a sort of reverse babel fish (from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), where instead of all of the languages being translated when they reach you, their voices are already translated, by the time they get to you.

I've been following this game since around two years before it was announced. I regularly lurk at GTAForums (heck it's one of my two homepages (and it has been for years)). So, you could say I'm hyped. But, so far, my favorite new edition has been... yoga. Just imagine it: "Hey, cousin, let's do yoga." Wouldn't it be amazing? All joking aside, this game looks amazing.
  6. You know, after thinking about it a while, I don't think I'll record myself. This is for two reasons, 1: My brother doesn't know I'm a Brony, and 2: My parents know, they just don't know how active I am in the community. They'll be able to hear me through the walls, and then they'll ask what I'm doing, and then there'll be an awkward conversation... It's just too much work.
  7. I'll PM you the link to a GDocs for a story I'm writing. It's got two portions to it, one's a flashback and one's not. I've already got the flashback written. I've already got a pre-reader, but two opinions are better than one, right? I would stay up to see what you think of it, but it's late and I'm going to bed. In fact, I only turned on my computer to check email and what not.
  8. It's been a good long while since I played it, but I'll answer to the best of my memory. I've mostly played Wild World, by the way. Q-Why do you like it? My answer- It's probably the part of me that likes decorating my house in the Elder Scrolls games, the part of me likes doing pointless tasks, that don't actually "Progress" the game. Q- What do you mostly do on it? My answer- I would occasionally clean the town of weeds. I fished quite a bit, if I remember correctly. I believe I actually caught a shark once. Also, I quite liked decorating my house. Q-What animal do you hate? My answer- I don't remember hating a particular animal. Except Resetti (sp?), of course. Q-What animal do you love the most? My answer- Again, I don't remember having one. Q-What do you hate about the game? My answer- Resetti.
  9. The first thing my Mom said after my telling her: "Are you going to FurCon next?"... She didn't understand the difference between Furry and Brony, even though she had made a big fuss about finding out what Bronies were just a few months earlier. In fact, she completely forgot that Bronies existed at all. That certainly didn't make it any easier... Especially after already having been a family closet Brony for a year and a half.
  10. I'll see what I can do, I can't guarantee how good the quality will be though. My web-cam sucks a lot. Maybe I'll where a mask as a gimmick or something... Would that be acceptable? I don't have to, I don't mind showing my face on the internet.
  11. I'm a mix between Regular Brony and Closet Brony. All of my friends and my parents know that I'm a Brony (most of my friends are too) though I haven't told my brother, and I don't plan to.
  12. I might be in on this. I can send in an audition, though I don't mind being in some sort of queue. I may go watch the 8-minute preview now, and tape myself watching it. I haven't seen it as of me writing this. EDIT: I found that my webcam is too crappy to do this. Oh well... EDIT 2: Well, on the other hand, my family DOES have a video camera...
  13. Oh, don't you get me wrong, I have heard of the Generation One pony, I've just never heard of using that name for Rainbow Dash's mother.
  14. Let's see... I saw Far Cry, Postal (I actually liked it, since it wasn't supposed to be good,) I saw part of Tomb Raider once... Does Shenmue: The Movie count? It's literally just cutscenes and gameplay from the first game.
  15. I wrote this for my school newspaper, so little kids will be reading it, and I don't want them to accidentally buy the game, hence the disclamers Disclaimer: This should not be taken seriously, it is a joke. Do not buy this game, it is terrible. Game: Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3. ESRB Rating: E 10+ Genre: Horror. Review: Sonic the Hedgehog was a popular gaming franchise that still holds one my favorite all-time games, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. It had many great games and millions sold. In 2005, Sega, the game’s developers, announced they were making a new horror game, codenamed Big Shadow. A few months later, they announced that it was really a reboot of the Sonic franchise. What followed is the single scariest game I have ever played. Sound: The voice acting... The voice acting... it’s just so terrifying. The way the characters speak is just so... menacing. I really can’t describe it, you have to hear it for yourself. The music is perfectly haunting, it makes even the happiest cut-scenes terrifying. Oh, and the way the characters in the town hub-world say “Hey” is just freaky, it’s almost like they know exactly who they’re talking to and how to scare them. Graphics: The CGI cut-scenes look especially scary. The 4-foot tall blue, black, and silver hedgehogs, with their horrifyingly oversized hands and their massive heads, they look so out of place, it’s just scary. Back to the town’s people of the hub-world, the way they move their arms when they’re talking to you, you know that they actually just want to strangle you. Story: The game takes place around the princess of Soleanna, a creepy zombie who should have died ten years before the game started, but was brought back to life by time-traveling hedgehogs. As a side-effect of her being brought back to life, her legs are permanently orange. The evil Dr. Eggman, a man literally made of bloodcurdlingly scary eggs, is trying to use her to unleash doom upon this doomed planet. And now for the scariest character in the game, Mephiles. He is very angry, and with good reason. He has no mouth. But that doesn’t stop him, he keeps talking anyway. Gameplay: I’ll review this truly petrifying section in three parts, one for each of the horrifyingly scary characters. I’ll start with Sonic. He ditched his fast-paced roots, in favor of a slower paced, slightly startling light jog. He died between games and is now a ghost, therefore he can stand upside down on loop-de-loops. He has ghostly homing attacks that magically home-in on unsuspecting robots. He can also break-dance at high speeds. Shadow is essentially the same as sonic, except that instead of break-dancing at high speeds, he can do it while menacingly hovering in place. Now for Silver. Silver, Silver, Silver, he was just too scary for me to play as, so I had my friend play most of his portions for me. But from what I did play, he has terrifying psychokinesis powers that let him pick up objects and throw them at anything. Including creepy lemons. To kill forbidding robots. Closing Thoughts: Don’t play this game, it is far too terrifying. That’s really all I have to say on the subject. I’ll have to give it an over 2.5/10. Don’t buy this game, this review was not real.
  16. Huh, I've never heard of Firefly before, that's a good name. I might go with Sideswipe, it sounds kind of fitting. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
  17. It looks great! Now you should go crash it and buff out the dents... I should really find my copy of Forza Motorsport 4, I lost it a few months ago, so I've been playing the 3rd instead.
  18. When I'm with my family, I'm not open at all. When I'm with my friends, I'm completely open, even in public. It's nice that all of my friends are Bronies.
  19. I believe this is the correct place to post this, since it's directly related to a fanfic I'm writing, correct me if I'm wrong. Does anypony have any suggestions for names for Rainbow's parents? I need them for a fanfic I'm writing.
  20. Not having the equivalent to CTRL+F in real life, I sometimes spend a huge amount of time looking for something that could be so simple.
  21. 1. TwiDash 2. After I read The Wind Beneath Her Wings by TAW 3. I think that Dash's tom-boyishness really complements Twilight's adorkableness. 4. The Wind Beneath Her Wings by TAW
  22. Well, considering we all became Bronies at around the same time, I'd say quite well! My other friend introduced it to us, and we didn't have anything against it, so we started watching it. The first episode I saw was Boast Busters.
  23. I've been a Brony since part way through season 1, though only recently have I gotten involved in the larger community. The past couple of months have been really fun, I've gotten encouragement to stick with my fanfic, I've been happily greeted here, and I finally got around to telling my parents I'm a Brony. The point is, you're all great, and have welcomed me with open arms. Thanks for being awesome everybody!
  24. I was kind of forced to use it for a few days, when my computer was in the shop. This was back when the beta had first come out (late July if I remember correctly.) Let's just say, I was grateful when I got my computer back. It's still better than Wii Internet, though, not nearly as slow.
  25. I've been in the beta for it since... late July I believe? whenever the first roll-out happened. I personally like the new look a bit better than the previous iteration. I do still prefer the old one from a couple years ago though.
