I usually just screw around on the Internet. Mainly by looking up photoshop tutorials, browsing both the Battle.net and these forums, and I do some reading on fimfiction.net. I also do a little song writing with FL Studio. And, of course, I listen to a lot of Pendulum.
-
I would rather have the PC version, but I'm stuck with the Xbox version at the moment. I don't have a decent computer to run it on. D:
-
^^ It's nice to see a fellow Pendulum fan. Black Album by Metallica comes in a close second and the rest of the 'albums' that I like are just singles. Granite, Witchcraft, etc.
-
I listen to a fair share of Dubstep. Mainly Brostep though (don't hate me!). However, I'm more of Drum n Bass fan. Once I found it, I abandoned all other EDM for about a month. :3

I'm forced to take one every day. My hair (along with the rest of my body) gets really greasy overnight. It actually affects moral and my overall mood. I will feel like crap all day until I take a shower. It's weird.

How long does it take you to fall asleep?
IronPuddinG replied to Miss Light Diamond's topic in General Discussion
Similar to many others, it depends on the situation. On average, it takes about 30-45 minutes. If I'm beat tired, 5 minutes. If I'm wide awake, well, I go into this state where I know I'm awake, but I feel asleep. Almost like a deep mediation state. I might do that for 2-3 hours and be wide awake for the rest of the night. One thing that really keeps me up is actually physical. Sometimes, I can't relax my face muscles and keep my eyes closed. I'm squinting just to keep them closed. Then I get a headache and bleeegggh. It doesn't help if I have some riff of a song (not even the whole thing!) just stuck on loop. It drives me insane. -
How do you avoid Boredom? (Opinion/Discussion thread)
IronPuddinG replied to Fallen Angel's topic in General Discussion
Boredom? Haha! Who needs boredom when you have the INTERNET? In line with this, I often listen to Pendulum and browse the Battle.net forums, these forums, and fimficiton.net. I even do a little writing on there every once in a while. You won't find anything posted, though, I don't post anything of the sort until it's so refined and polished that there's nothing left. And then I have to rewrite everything. :S -
Both careers compliment each other. DJing teaches you time signatures, mixing up tracks and things. You learn what goes well together by mixing the stuff that the producers make. You can then apply it to your own tracks.

Hypnotize yourself to be a pony, links included
IronPuddinG replied to Gone for good's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Interesting. I stumbled upon this thread yesterday and I finally got around to doing it today. I got about 1/2 through the Twilight one before getting interuptted. I felt relaxed, but that's about it. Then, I decided to give Fluttershy a shot. I was just going through these for curiosities sake. I must say, it was an odd feeling. I got about 1/2 way through Fluttershy too though. However, the effects were much more immediate. Although I didn't feel the hooves and whatnot, I did begin to feel them form. It doesn't really work in the way the voice describes it. It's almost like your limbs are slowly being replaced by them rather than your limbs forming into them. I'll probably commit fully when I go to bed. Even though I'm home alone ATM, phone calls keep interuptting. Hopefully it will work fully tonight. I'll post tomorrow with the results. ~IP -

Except being a Wonderbolt isn't just a job. You're constantly training, you're doing live shows, and your traveling around Equestria to do those live shows. While villians may halt all that, there is still the issue of actually having a connection with your friends. Long distance relationships rarely work.
-
It has come to my attention that Generation 4 is coming to a close. My reasoning? Wonderbolt Academy. Rainbow is finally achieving her dream; which is good, no doubt. But, that means that she will be away from her friends in Ponyville; which means that she will also lose her strength as one of the Elements of Harmony. Another reason for which I make this claim is Celestia's saying that Twilight will find her destiny. There is a lot of contraversy surrounding that particular topic, so I'll leave it at that. With 1 and, possibly, 2 Elements of Harmony leaving the stage, it would be quite difficult for the show to continue. Your thoughts?

I went to a Pendulum concert once. Let me tell you, it got me swinging! Here's another one. I went to a Knife Party concert before, but it didn't cut out to be what i thought it would. EDIT: What you did with the title. I see it.

Tulpa Discussion Thread V1.2
IronPuddinG replied to Rizoel & Crepuscule's topic in General Discussion
I've read up to about page 17 and then jumped back here. I downloaded a bunch of guides and something is bothering me. Everywhere I read, it's about 'speaking to this blob/cloud/etc. Is there anything I'm supposed to do before this point? The way I'm thinking it, the process is like this: No Tulpa >> Talk to blob It's kind of a disconnect to me, as it seems like it's too sudden of a thing. Do you really just make a 'blob', of sorts, and begin narrating to it? Thanks, ~IrOnPUdDiNg- 4,976 replies

gaming What video games do you want to see as cartoon series/live or animated movies?
IronPuddinG replied to Jon the VGNerd's topic in Media Discussion
Beat me to it. But, I agree, I would love to see a StarCraft movie (live action). The only problem with it is that it already has an in depth storyline. It's hard to make a movie based on something that already has a solid storyline. If they did it right, then I would see StarCraft in a heardbeat. But, if I were to see reviews and things state that it really deviated from what could be considered StarCraft, I probably would just stick to the games. -
Hmm.. I can't I dislike my FIRST name. I find it rather pleasant actually. My last name is kinda silly. And me, the person that dislikes attention, is always given a hard time about it (not in a bad way, but in a joking, silly way.) If you're wondering, my first name is Sean.

Hmm... 3/10 Too many different sounds layered on top of eachother. It just sounds messy. One good tip is to use a high htz sound for your background melodies. Otherwise it starts to drown out your lead and require more space (which, in this situation, is not a good thing.) Also, work on that outro. It kinda' just... ends. Another thing that Arcium mentioned is that it gets off rhythm at times. One of the most important part of D'n'B is the drums, (it's in the name!). You want to put a lot of detail in the drum pattern and making everything line up. It's one of the main reasons it's a difficult genre to start out with as a producer. Hope this helps. ~IrOnPUdDiNg

Which pony do you have a personality closest to?
IronPuddinG replied to Wolf-Boy's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
According to the personality test, I'm most like Rainbow, but have decent chunks of the other characters (except for Rarity) thrown in there. I would have thought I would have been most like Twilight. The only thing I really have in common with RD is that I'm loyal. I guess that could be a big factor in it, but I'm a pretty modest person (how's that for irony!). You won't see this guy showing off. I actually avoid it as much as possible. -
If you are referring to the old style of dubstep that originated in London, then I can agree with you. However, Skrillex is almost soley responsible (I say almost because I'm sure there was less popular artists that did what he did) for what most of us call dubstep today. As for the topic, I don't exactly dislike him. I just don't listen to him. I appreciate him for his revolutionizing of dubstep (I enjoy it a lot more than traditional dubstep). I just enjoy other artists more. I have a single song, First of the Year - Equinox, on my playlist from him. Everything else is a large group of varying artists. For some reason, though, the only dubstep artist (I'm not sure if that's what you would call them) that has left me wanting more is Knife Party. Maybe it's just because I like Pendulum so much.

I don't exactly want anything physical. If I had one wish, I would choose to have infinite wisdom. That way I could make all the right decisions. As for material goods, I would say that I would want some music producing equipment. Then again, I wouldn't know what to do with it, so I would say that I would like to own a higher quality computer (which isn't that far away for me. )
-
Haha, I know exactly how that is. I use the SC2 forums all the time, and it is quite challenging. I have to go in there with an entirely different mindset. Sometimes I forget to turn off that mindset when I come in here. That of blunt, cold, and hard truth. It's truly the most effective way to silence them. And then you have users like HeReTiC that just ruin everything by supporting the guy you are trying to shut up. -_- As for the topic at hand, I don't ever put my real name anywhere. Nor my birthdate, and, most certainly, my ZIP code. (dang photobucket...) I'm not sure why I'm so paranoid about it. It just doesn't seem like the smart move to put that stuff out there.

Honestly, I'm not sure what to think about this. As others have said, it's probably just some idiot trying to get a rise out of us. But, then again, the recent promotions (Twilight's Destiny, lack of Derpy) point in the opposite direction. I think it would be best to take the 'wait and see' attitude and see how time plays itself out. This is a practice commonly performed by Blizzard in StarCraft II when it concerns balance changes. It, quite often, succeeds. Although we have no direct control over the flow events, I don't think it's worth getting worked up about. Kick back, fold your hands and wait. That's what it boils down to. Waiting.

Anyone else heard it yet? What are your opinions on it? The only downfall it had for me was that it didn't include 'Tourniquet'. It's one of my favorite songs. D: Also, whatever they layered over 'Save the World' doesn't exactly fit... Other than that, though, it is an insane mix. I can't wait to blast it through my Klipch stereo system.

Have you ever lucid dreamed into Equestria?
IronPuddinG replied to SuperUltimateBrony's topic in General Discussion
Despite the fact that I have lucid dreamt quite often, I cannot seem to have any measure of control of them. The closest I've ever gotton is prolonging a dream (It was actually a chase dream, in which I was being chased off a cliff by a bear. )
