The Blind bags aint widespread in the uk yet, at least in N.ireland and Ireland. so far all ive ever seen is the individual window boxed blind bags of Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack , Pinkie and Rarity ( all of which i snapped up)

I have been waiting quite some time for new waves to come out here in the US and of course when people post that they are out I head down to the local Toysrus and they still have a full box of wave one. I just want Big Mac, is that so much to ask for?

my local Wal-mart. (: Only place ive been able to find blind bags. Luckily im in a small kinda town.. ish? so not many people are like HAY PONIES.

i pretty much got pick of the crop.

 

NO place in three states around me sell Blind Bags or Trading Cards. AND I'm not allowed to buy things online... uhg

Has the USA gotten anything other than wave 1? I checked four or five Wal-Marts and found it only in one.

 

My Toys R Us has waves 1 and 3. No wave 2. That was 2 weeks ago, so I'm not sure what it's like now.

Ouch, that hurts. I have a slightly similar story...okay, not really similar, but this is the only thread that gives me the excuse to post the story, so here goes anyway.

 

At a screening of pony episodes, the host of the screening decided to give out blind bags to the winners of an emoticon based comic contest. I was one of the winners. However, the host made the sadistic step of taking a hole punch to the one piece of the blind bag foil that held the numbers, so the bags truly were blind because it was impossible to tell which pony was in which bag.

 

I ended up winning a Fizzypop, which is a Pinkie Pie recolor that actually has a pretty interesting color scheme, and when set next to my Twilight and Pinkie Pie figurines from that one set, she looks like she's their foal thanks to the way the colors mix.

 

What makes this funny, though, is the description of Fizzypop. You see, Fizzypop is actually a nihilist. How so? Just read her description!

 

 

 

I have the vague inclination to write a story based upon this absurd premise.

 

It's funny because, I tried to get Pinkie by looking at the small holes in the side.... and as soon as I saw the two pinks, I took it with me.... darn you Fizzypop....

I don't think they sell blind bags anywhere near me

I've tried looking around for some, but to no success.

I'm not too disappointed though, they're basically just recolours of the mcdonalds toys ~

i for my part would have a hard time getting them, because, well..... im like,13 and you know: parents, and a tennager buing ponies isnt a common sight here :/

Yeah but I don't live in Stockholm or anything like that. I'm in a town outside of Norrköping and well.. I've been at BR, Maxi, Toys"R"Us and some other places but I haven't seen any :c

I use that small hole to look at the cutie mark.  The hole is perfectly positioned to look at that part of the card that comes with each figure.  It's how I got my Wonderbolts.  I didn't have the numbers yet.

First two I bought randomly. Then I found about the codes and went by those to get the rest of the crystal wave and when I was trying to get Big Mac. However after I decided to get them all I just made sure I had all different numbered ones and I'd get a whole bunch. I use a magnifier with a light to be able to read the numbers but the 3's and 8's always tended to throw me off. So I have a couple extra and I didn't know there were sparkly ones in other waves besides the crystal wave so I have a couple extra of those.

 

One time they had a newish box of the Silver and Aqua ones and I bought 21 of them and grabbed the box since there were only like 3 left after the ones I was gonna buy. There were missing two and I already had one.

 

I haven't gotten any from the one wave (wave 2?) that was only in Europe. Also I missed buying the nighttime bags and the store that was almost onto that wave stopped selling the blind bags. Now there's only one store near me that sell them! : (
