A chimera, a timberwolf and a manticore meet.

It is a tense moment.

 

The manticore's mouth begins to water in hunger. The chimera, a hulking amalgam of beasts, begins sizing up it's opponent, crouching in anticipation. Out of the brambles and bushes of the Everfree a gargantuan Timberwolf bursts into the scene, separated from his pack. Within moments, these three magical apex predators (who somehow got into a forest clearing all together because of this poster's selfish whim) will engage in a deadly bout for dominance. But only one will survive.

The Manticore. The Timberwolf goes down first, pebbles can take it down. The Chimera's three heads make concentrating and making a plan too difficult. This combined with its relatively bad reaction time(the Manticore can swat RD out of the air) means the Manticore wins

My vote's on the Chimera. Both the Manticore and the Timberwolf are little more than wild animals, yet the Chimera is capable of speech and is likely a might smarter than the other two. It would quickly become a case of brains vs brawn and the Chimera has the luxury of having both.

Well, let's see with three heads the Chimera was taken down quiet easily by Applejack. As for the timber wolf and Manticore I'd have to say the Manticore since wolves normally do WAY better in packs than solo.
