Awesome sounds, one of my favorite songs from these guys. Honestly, I was trying to remember the name of this damn band for the longest time, and I kept getting them confused with Akeldama and

(I'm bad with names sometimes).

There was an overuse of clean vocals in the Faceless' new album. This sound is what they should return to, in my opinion. Straight up technical death metal.

Welp, I feel today is going to be full of some interesting music. I found some fun stuff in a sharethread a while ago. Most of it is just Emo/Screamz, but there's the occasional post-rock or electronic album mixed in.

Sumerian just uploaded this yesterday, and Deku was talking this up a bit. So I'll give this a listen.

I love Agalloch. One of the greatest bands, ever. Quality USBM, even if they lean more towards the folk metal side than their black metal side.

Do yourself a favor and buy that album. You won't regret it.

Also, I probably don't know as much metal as most of you, so if someone could maybe recommend me a really good metal band that would be cool. My sister's boyfriend told me to check them out. Not bad, actually. Interesting mixture of punk, folk, and ska elements.

 

As for something heavier? Not enough people like this band and it makes me sad.

I apologize for not being here lately, I have been working on some music for a battle of the bands and the damn hurricane knocked out my power. Ipod's out of battery and the only album I have on my phone is The Discovery by Born of Osiris. So thay's what my past few hours have been filled with. (That is not to say I'm complaining )

Recently bought this album from Blind Guardian and I am def. loving this album up. Been getting into bands like Sabaton, Saxton, and Nightwish.

 

I have that album as a t-shirt, my most worn item of clothing. That song is one of my all-time favorites from Blind Guardian. Hansi Kursch is best vocalist, here's another band he's a part of with Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth.

They're crankin' out some pretty solid tunes, imo. Dat HD video quality (not that that matters or anything). Your friend's BF's vocals remind me of a certain vocalist... I just can't put a finger on it.
