This is something I thought I should start, so I know everypony has a favorite song from a movie right? Of course, you guys do, so long story short I made this topic for you guys to post your favorite theme song from your favorite movie, and whoever wants to move this topic you may choose to do so.

My favorite theme song is from Spiderman The Movie, Main Titles by Danny Elfman:

Overall, The Island is an...OK...movie. The plot was fantastic but the execution could have used a bit of work. 2.5/4 stars.

This theme has made me cry man tears on more than one occasion.

 

 

I always thought this theme was strange, because it's such a beautiful song and it still fits amazingly well somehow with the action-y thriller kind of movie that Jurassic Park is.

YES, YES, ALL OF MY YES AND MY FUTURE CHILDREN'S YES. The Island's theme is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever listened to. If only I could give you two hundred brohoofs.

 

So, aside from The Island's theme (YES) my other favourites are:

 

- Steve Jablonsky's "The Craziest Mess I've Ever Seen" from The Island

- Steve Jablonsky's "The Island Awaits You" again from The Island

- Steve Jablonsky's "Arrival to Earth" from Transformers

- Hans Zimmer's "Time" from Inception

- Howard Goodall's "Mad Pianos" from Bean: The Movie

 

Probably the one that just about tops it is Michael Kamen's "Overture" from Robin Hood. That one gets a special mention because it's probably my favourite ever. No other theme tune sounds more uplifting, epic and representative of a classic yet badass character, and I'll give you my left testicle if you can find a theme tune that I find better:

This isn't exactly the theme of the movie, but this song alone somehow made the already hilarious talent show scene also bad-ass. I don't know what it is with that scene but holy crap when I saw that I was not only laughing freaking hard, but tears were also coming from my eyes and just holy god I had the biggest smile on my face. I did not want that movie to ever end, except it did shortly after that scene and even though the ending was pretty funny the damn movie ended and I was sad.

You know, for the longest time I could never really pick a movie theme song I REALLY liked. There are some good ones out there like Cats Don't Dance's theme song but after watching The Last Unicorn last night I gotta say the song The Last Unicorn is absolutely amazing so I'll go with that. There are lots, but one in-particular that stands out after having re-watched the movie tonight after going on a Dreamworks binge that started with Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams, is the theme for The Road to El Dorado.
