Oops, sorry everyone. There was a new expansion in Hearthstone today so I spent all my afternoon on that instead of replying here... But tomorrow is friday, so I'll have time then!

Worse. I work in retail. So I have to deal with angry people all the time. 

Worse worse: I'm the manager. People call on me for arbitrary things and I have to deal with every problem. 

Working in a factory is probably a bit more physically demanding, but not nearly as depressing or emotionally taxing.

      Sigh... well that's... disappointing; but not entirely unwarrented on your part. Haven't read it yet of course, but we can just pretend like I never intervened. I'm sorry it's just... dealing with an awful lot of stress. A huge new, noisy job with maybe four hours to myself and fighting with everything I got to manage myself well enough not to have some boss or something yell at me while trying to get enough time to have appointments and a life outside this demanding job... it's just... kind of hard to find the time to sit down and write. Much less for myself. Kind of hard to muster the creative juices, you know?

 I just wanna be a part of y'all stories. Make 'em funner, you know? I know I ain't reliable, but you all know I bank on that! Heh!

  D'aaah...  You in the know about HS too? They gave me the Man'ari Skull for a Demon Deck (talks to you too! Seems like I'm destined to be a decent warlock!) Master Oakheart and the Dragon Soul I've still got to get used to. 

 Like most free-to-play games, there's only so much to go on. This expansion sure does seem an awful lot like a gimmie, what with just random notions of treasure rather than any overarching theme or story. But new stuff is new stuff; good to look forward to things I say!

  I am like... so lost. Spent so much time trying to work everything real-life out that I just... don't know if I can.

 For one, feel real bad for leaving poor @Foxy Socks hanging last time, but now she's off just talking to Briar and I think @~Phoenix~ playing RD and me on Rarity have just been instantly retired somehow as they're no longer part of the conversation. Don't know what to do there, and I feel terrible being such a poor host!

  Ambie's at that point again where the journey won't end until I can somehow manage to say "Oh Look! There's the wagon now!" and that just feels a little too blatant a route for me to take. Stymied, but as that's happened before I'm sure that I'll somehow overcome.

 More importantly... I have no idea where Widdershins stands now in relation to Smokey & Phoenix. Like, can they see his face? Is he forcibly removed and can no longer talk about that step? Is he standing? How do I narrate that? I don't think I can?!!? So, uh...

 In that regard, he's handed it over entirely to my jurisamadiction for this time around! It's not that we're complaining, of course! I'm the Spirit of Confusion! I'm used to being embroiled in it!

It's just... If all I'm doing is holding everybeing else up... 

 Ah...

 

    ...anyhow! Tried catching up on what I could! Does this make Briar basically an elemental, B.B? Like, less mortal and more nature spirit, like your dryad or... the StickGuy? That sounds cool; I wanna have my own Elemental OC! Al'Ketzar, The Effervescent!

You can still respond to things with Smokey.  Phoenix is outside currently, and I have a secondary character already prepared to speak with her. Smokey is still in limbo for a time, and you can make contact there. See? Nothing ruined here mate.

And for the record, I did delay the response. This way it's just a situational long pause, as your scene are just lacking a player, but not the one you were still stuck in the muzzle off.

As for where he is in relations too them, we both put in what we did after he was pulled out. Which leaves you with a bit where you can feel and respond to them trying to get him out, the eventual release when he figures out how to get out/when he is bored of tormenting them, and then the two sharing a bottle of mouthwash to get the taste out, before Phoenix runs away in silence.

(Just read your post. That will do as well, long as we imahine that is said right after they have both *barfed* him out, and he is responding to the hostility. I can work with that. ^^)

RD and Rarity is something that @~Phoenix~ should have a look at too, to be fair. Might help you have something to respond to if Dashie says something.

Ambie and Happy is a side show that you can pick up again when you have some ideas what to do. I still suggest that forest animals have stolen parts of the wagon. But that's just me.

Briar is essentially a kind of elemental, yes. Considering not one of the buildings blocks of everything, we can go with Lesser Elemental, and then move on from there.

Lyriel is more attuned to nature than him though. Where the Evergrown are grown from nature, chaos, and latent pony DNA, Lyriel is an embodiment of pure nature magic. It's how she can interact with trees, and bend greens to her will, etc. She I would define as a nature spirit.

I had planned to hide this canon, but they do share a similar background, but Lyriel and the Drtads in the valley were a far more advanced attempt than the Evergrown were. One that unfortunately didn't work, as they were prone to corruption. It's way to explain the weird bavkground I gave, along with what I will assume is a personal fear of certain spectrums (hope it's the right word) of water, and not something the entire race has to deal with.

And Al'Ketzar sounds... How many ponies are he going to eat?

Speaking HS, the Skull is not too good, but there is some control decks popping up with that, Rin, Master Oakheart, and a few others. Seems rather well functioning, provided that you don't run into a hyperaggressive deck and only draws high cost cards.

And yes, I got the skull too, not what I hoped for. Still better than Temporus. Man a bad card that one is.

 Ah, Al'Ketzar the Effervescent! would be mostly made of water with a crusty core of the special minerals around the geyser he was formed from. Technically speaking, there ain't much you can do as a water elemental, but he does hold great scorn for all the fleshy mortals that give a bad name to all the water they carry around inside of them. At most he can make a pony burp on command or do that little throw-up-a-little-bit-in-the-back-of-your-throat-where-you-get-a-bad-taste-in-it feeling. ...Huh, I sure do alotta Impotent Rage in my OCs..

If you mean Twilight, then I'd prefer you didn't. Enough there as it is for a supposed-to-be-hidden Siren OC already. Also, as RD, we could use you more in the shop really. She have been quiet for a good deal of time, and Widders ain't sure what to do without you.

Also, as have been mentioned a few times already, I'd really prefer not to have too many of the mane six to gather up. They're side characters here, not main ones, and having them all gathered will end with them being the main focus one way or another.

Heh, your elemental sounds like fun.

Although... How about we have some fun with that? Say, what would happen if he was tossed into a lake of dead water? We have a fun little situation where Nerzhei and Blood left a minor lake like that, which she drained of life to power the resurrection medal trinket. It could use a cleansing, or perhaps someone who would master it? Or you know, someone who would see that as a good reason to rage against the fleshlings for their transgressions.

And I meant Dryads in what I said earlier. Just a typo. Though i suspect you know that.

I am not sure where I'm being harsh to be honest. I just don't want a reunion of all six elements, as this is not supposed to be one with the canons taking over the show. This is after all, supposed to be a place where one can showcase their own creations, where the original ones are side shows. ^^ Plus you know, RD does have a setting that should be dealt with before other stuff, realistically. Even if it is an exit post akin to *This is weird, I'm out*.

Also, what little I know of RD doesn't make me too confident in her ability to not alert others to Serenade, one way or another.
