Well, Ironically, my English handwriting (english is my first language) is almost illegible. However, my Russian handwriting and my Japanese calligraphy have been regarded as "beautiful" by native speakers.

My handwriting for print is what you would find from a struggling kindergarten student, my cursive however I try to keep legible for those who cannot read cursive well(So I don't get too fancy and crazy like some people :okiedokielokie: ), but it is very neat unless you are trying to write notes with a professor who talks way to friggin fast then it is the sloppiest thing in existence.

Flunked penmanship in 1st grade & it's been down hill from there.  I learned typing in H.S. (partly) because of this & it is one of the few things I learned in H.S. that has ever been of any use to me.

They say I have a hand of a artist.... pfft, while I can draw well but my handwriting is  horrendous. I can’t post an example atm, but to put it in a perspective, it like a kid handwriting.

My handwriting used to be atrocious, even when I wrote slowly. I'm not entirely sure why this happened, but between freshman year of high school and college, my handwriting changed from chicken scratch to almost exactly like my mom's handwriting, which is actually really neat.

I have pretty good handwriting actually. I've had a lot of compliments on it. But if I'm in a hurry and I'm just scribbling something down, it can get pretty messy and illegible. My cursive looks better than my printing.

It depends on how much of an effort I make to write clearly. I remember a teacher actually praised my handwriting once for its clarity, which surprised me (I had always thought of my handwriting as ugly). In school assignments and such, I indeed did my best to make it legible. However, if I write something down only as a reminder for myself, the handwriting can be pretty bad at times (I can read it myself anyway, so I don't really care in that case).
