Favorite firearm?

For a military application, I'm going with the XM8 Assault rifle.

The XM8 for those who didn't know, it was apart of the former OICW Weapons program to find a suitable replacement for the current M series of assault weapons.

It and along with XM25 Airburst grenade launcher were apart of the new weapon list and were about to go into full enstatememt if the budget for the U.S. Military hadn't tightened up.

For a civilian use I'd prefer a Glock pistol, any variant is alrighty. Its simply a very reliable and compact pistol.

I'd have to go with a Beretta M9A1 in a 9mm MasterRace round. I've also got a hella smexy Mauser in 7mm, thing is a freaking beast and accurate as all hell. The AR and AK variants are pretty sweet, although I'm not as much a fan of rifles. /end

FN P90: light, accurate, very practical, low recoil, huge ammo magazine, easy to manipulate, etc. I'll never forget the day I laid hands on one of those beauties

can shoot very fast, loaded through the stock. i have one thats incredibly old, many decades. it took months to get it back to working condition.

  From the Czech Republic, the CZ 805 Bren, modular rifle or carbine, it fires 5.56x45 mm, but it can also fire 7.62x39 mm and 5.45x39 mm, from the outside it looks like the FN SCAR-L, but it has a different stock, it can fire in single, two round burst, and full auto, and to be frank, it looks better than the FN SCAR, it can use standard or polymer magazines, FN firearms can be very fickle about ammunition or magazines, proprietary parts are also something that make me frustrated with FN Herstal, but Ceska Zbrojovka really knows how to keep it simple, adaptable and able to used by anyone, quite similar to German small arms, and I am a fan of German rifles.

yeah I read about that legal process, but as long as its legal somehow I see it as legal, as for ever owning one... probably not I may get the SAA sometime in the future
