So yeah ive been playing it recently and its a very good game. I found myself playing as robin and mii brawler more than anyone else. How about you? Who's your favorite?

Out of the new characters, I've been loving Rosalina a lot and I'm enjoying using Lucina a lot more than Marth(who's actually one of my best) somehow

 

But my best characters are still Link and Captain Falcon

I don't think 10 favorite characters in a game with so many to play as is a bad thing.

1st choice would be my girl Lucina. I actually prefer her sword mechanics over Marth's, she's also a bit faster. Plus, I enjoyed her character in Awakening.

 

My other mains are Palutena. She was awesome in Uprising, and she's even better Playable. Zero Suit Samus, and Pit/Dark Pit.

Link, Marth, Sheik, and Meta Knight were always my favs, but now Little Mac, Lucina, and especially Zero Suit Samus are climbing their way onto the list. I think I might actually be better with Zero Suit Samus than Link Little Mac is also fun but if you aren't careful you could easily die with him XD

I'm playing as Robin, Rosalina & Luma, Palutena, Mii brawler and Mii swordfighter Of course from previous games, Link, Mario and Ike.

 

I also have a crazy obsession fighting with Wii-Fit Trainer. "Let's stretch our legs."

Yoshi! He's become so much better in this installment. Pretty much every attack he has launches the opponent in the air and his recovery isn't total garbage anymore. His jump seems better and he can throw multiple eggs midair to get back on the stage.

 

Palutena is also up there mostly because I loved her character in uprising. She's pretty good in smash bros too, but doesn't fit my berserker fighting style that well...

Have you tried messing with her special moves a bit? Celestial Fireworks, and Angelic Missile fits my attack heavy style pretty well. (I also have Heavenly light for some multi purpose stuff, also you can use heavenly light to totally cheat in the Trophy Smash mini-game, but I don't think you can do it in the 3ds version.)

Fox remains as my favorite in every single Smash game. I am enjoying Rosalina as well though.

Since Brawl, King Dedede has been my favourite character. Not just in battling, but also his role in the Subspace Emissary. To me, I found Dedede to be even better in SSB4. I've always been decent with heavy characters, but for some reason I feel as if Dedede's more easy to control.

 

I also really like Greninja. Coming from somebody who is terrible with light and quick characters, Greninja has helped me with unlocking Challenges.

I love Lucina. Both because she was a pipe dream character of mine, and because I like the way she plays better than Marth (where I feel I played better as Marth as opposed to all other characters, aside from Lucina of course!)

Ironically, the character I play best as is Pac-Man. He was my least desired fighter to appear onto the roster(that opinion having now easily moved to Dr. Mario). I also regularly use my custom Mii Fighter(Swordsman with all focus on attack)
My favourite will still be Pikachu, though.

In terms of who I have the most experience with and would pick for a serious fight, Mario and Doctor Mario are at the top of my list (scoring a K.O. with the Cape or Mario's meteor smash is too satisfying  Captain Falcon and Ike are close, however). I don't really limit myself to any certain characters, though; I enjoy playing and improving as all of them, so I'd rather pick the 'random' icon

I used to play as Robin a lot, but I started playing as Lucina a bit ago, and so far; she's my favorite. I love her down special attack; it's so useful and satisfying; especially when it catches the other players off guard. In one game, I was at a high percentage and my opponent and I were both on our last life, and he had just launched me a bit off to the right; one more hit would kill me. So, while I was floating down; I used her down special when my opponent expected me to use a recovery and it sent him flying: winning me the game.

 

Long story short; Lucina is awesome.

 

I also really like Falco, Zero Suit Samus, Lucario, Link, Villager, Shulk, and Bowser.

I've narrowed my mains down to Link and Shulk, and semi-main to Zero Suit Samus- over time they've just ended up feeling the best for me, and the balance patch certainly changed some things. Still, most characters aren't too hard to play as long as you can short-hop well(except with Little Mac) and use down throws effectively(except with characters with weird down throws like Bowser), and a lot of characters have counter moves that all work pretty much the same way. So... I still play a lot of others occasionally as well.
