I recently hooked back up my ps1 and popped in Spyro the Dragon, I forgot how much I loved it!

 

What games do you miss playing, or what was your favorite?

My favourite PS1 game is Ape Escape! It's a unique platformer with interesting controls, its art style is bubbly and it has some really great gameplay. It's definitely one of my favourite games of all time.

I like Driver 2 and SimCity 2000.

 

Should look into trying GTA 2 as well sometime.

I can't remember many games on my PSone as I didn't have it for long. I moved over to the Nintendo 64. But I remember playing Medal of Honor: Underground a lot and Muppet Monster Adventure.

I always wanted to play FF tactics, but never got the chance. I heard its great!

I loved digimon world 3. The first one was good, but I made it a lot further through the story in 3. The combat mechanics are also a lot nicer (turn based), the overworld graphics still look fantastic and it was just an all around fun game. The music was also really good at the time, particularly the leader boss battle theme.

What is surprising is that the developers that made that game went on to make the Syphon Filter series(which I DO consider some of the best games on the PS1)

Digimon World 3 definitely. I remember playing that game for hours each and every day, sometimes ending up dying because I went into difficult areas before even leveling up at all and doing everything all over again... good times and sometimes frustrating but overall great experience.

To this day my favorite PS1 game is Wild Arms 2. It remains one of my favorite series' of all time as well.
