What got me into MLP was the PONY.MOV Parody series... After watching it all I got curious about the actual show and watched it, then fell in love with it.

August 2011 for me. I still remember it. My sister found it on TV and was watching the episode "Look Before You Sleep" the colors and cuteness of the ponies drew me in and I found it really entertaining. From then on I began to watch all the different episodes and soon I was a huge fan.

It's also funny because my sister (she's 3 years younger than me) isn't really a fan. She likes it, but not like me.

I don't remember and I don't want to because my life was a living hell back. I don't call myself a brony  anymore though,  I prefer just mlp fan, because brony infers that you like/or are a part of the fandom but I like the show not the fandom. There is some parts of the fandom I like but for the most part I try to avoid the fandom because of my bad experiences with it.

I became a Brony when I saw the Canterlot Wedding. That season finally has flooded deviant art and I just got so curious that I finally gave the show a try (I ha been avoiding it in the fear it would be like G3 -shutters-) But the characters, the royalty, the world building and vaillins were so interesting that I had to watch more   and welp. now im addicted to mlp xD

Back in the distant time of January 13th of this year... I was alone... I was shunned by my friends going on 2 months because I was the only one whom ever had differing opinions from the tyrannical overlord whom was a mastermind behind all conflicts we had... It was a dark time... I was going mad from sheer boredom and loneliness... I had herd (buh dum tss) of the show and thought it horrendous without so much as experiencing it... That's when the curiosity hit... I just had to know what the big deal was with these small equines... At first it started out small... An episode... Two... Ten.. A whole season... Pretty soon i had watched all 4 current seasons and both Equestria Girls movies in 3 days... I began to search out more... I found music... Art... Theories... Stories... I wanted to experience it all... Shortly after my friends realized their mistake and began communications once more... But I wasn't the same... To this day none of them know of my secret... Only now am I interacting with others whom enjoy this show of candy colored horses... And as for the overlord whom began my downward spiral... Well... Some stories haven't been completed just yet.

Back in 2012 when I had to get up early for school my mom would turn on children's cartoons to try to annoy me to wake up, but she turned on The Hub one day and ponies was on and I really liked it and watched it for a while xD. I kind of forgot about it and I didn't really join the fandom until this year once Season 5 started up.

I became a brony in this year 2015. I was encountering bronies on all my favorite websites and curiosity got the best of me, so I watched a couple episodes. I was pretty skeptical at first obviously, but I was surprised when I watched it that it was actually good. I continued and now I am glad I decided to watch the show. That brings me here today a full-fledged brony and proud of it. :)

It was 2012 and I was on DeviantArt to find new Furry Art. I found a lot of Pony Artworks and became curious. So, I watch the first Episodes on YT in march 2012 and in august of the same year, I found a german Forum for MLP. I wait with the registry (I had made bad experiences with a non-MLP forum before) until november 2012 to final join the Forum. But I would say my big interest for MLP and the Brony Fandom began in August 2012.

Today I can say that this fandom is the best what ever happend to me.  :yay:

I first watched this show somewhat shortly after its premiere, though not on The Hub since I never had that channel. After rewatching Batman Beyond, I read on another site, Toonzone, stating that it was gonna get reruns on a new channel called The Hub (as in, I read about this before 10/10/10). After reading its lists of programs, this show stood out since I didn't think something like the 80's version of the show would still be made in this day and age, and that version was the one I was most familiar with. I read about bits and pieces of this show's concept, and some of the people on it were familiar to me including Lauren Faust and Rob Renzetti, whose recent cartoon efforts didn't impress me much. Because of that, I wasn't very interested in watching the show. I think a few days or so after the second episode aired, I read comments on Toonzone, and people said that it was pretty good. With nothing better to do, I decided to give it a shot, and I thought it was pretty good as well. I've never really watched a show like MLP before, so I decided to stick around, and here I am now.

Honestly, no clue. I just remember my boyfriend and I were out of things to watch. We were like, "Oh look. There's My Little Pony. Wanna watch it and hate together?" "Sure!" We watch it.. And became bronies. My boyfriend was like, "Dang it! I can't stop watching it!" lol :D

My story about me becoming a brony is pretty strange. I was playing Garry's Mod and I noticed an add on that had the mane 6 in it. I thought it would be funny to have my little pony characters in my game so i got the ad on. After a while, I realized that they were actually pretty cool characters and I decided to watch an episode of mlp, Put Your Hoof Down. The reason why I choose put my hoof down was because fluttershy was the only pony that I actually new a little about. I saw the episode and I loved it! I started watching mlp more and enjoying it more. Little did i know that I'd end up becoming a hardcore brony and falling in love with fluttershy. Since then, my passion for ponies has skyrocketed, even though it's only been a year. Ponies are one of my biggest passions and they're a huge part of my life. I'm proud of that and embrace it!  :squee:

When I find something I like, I have very few qualms about letting people know I like it. Same goes for MLP.

I was first introduced to it by Shael Riley, who if you are not familiar with his music, go and check it out. It is really good chiptune alternative music (I know, what does alternative even mean these days?): https://shaelriley.bandcamp.com/

Anyway, he and and a nerdcore rapper called Beefy did a podcast of miscallaneous songs, each one of them picking a track in tandem. And one of Shael's picks was the Alex S. remix of the Cutie Mark Crusaders song. I loved it! After the song finished playing Shael explains to Beefy about how he was introduced to the show and his thoughts on it, and just his description made me think "alright... a show whose target audience is young girls is being enjoyed by grown men?!" It was just too weird, so naturally I had to check it out.

I watched the first episode... and then the second... and third... and nth... all the way to the end of the first season. I was hooked! And then I had to wait almost 6 months for season 2. So I would say I declared myself a brony after the first two episodes.

I become a brony 3 years ago (Today exactly passing 3 years).

I browsed then a web site of one Polish gaming magazine and i found then something about MNLP: Fighting is Magic. 3 days from that day i decided to watch the first episode of MLP and i'm in this until now.

i became a brony recently actually, i think it was just as season 4 ended that i started to watch the show

I became a brony this year before season 5 started. I wish I had been ponified way sooner. I immediately fell in love with the show! (:

I don't know "when" anymore, but how. I was watching "Teens react to: MLP FiM" from the FineBros. First I was like "Why the fuck do you show them this?", but when they came to bronies, I was laughing my ass off and was like "Really? Dude, that's awesome." But I didn't start watching the show. Before that, I saw both "Bronies and Military Bronies react to: Teens react to: MLP FiM". But I finally started watching the show after searching for it on Google Images and saw a picture of Chrysalis and did a little research on the show on Wikipedia, and started by watching all of ACRaceBest's Bronies Reacts and then watched the regular show on the youtube channel of shanmul1995.
