For me about aa few weeks ago I got bored and I had heard of bronys. So I decided to look them up. Eventually I started watching the show and soon fell in love with it. Well I guess that is my story, I also only decided to watch at first to see it but Pinkie Pie made me laugh so much i just could not stop watching them. Still a closet brony though so no one knows but me and the other people on this forum.

I ended up brony due to standing shoulder to shoulder with a brony friend in a long, 20 page forum flame war. At first I stood up for him because of friendship, then the lad came to me and said I should watch the show. And so I did.

 

About a week later I had all season 1 and what existed of S2 done with.

the first time i actually saw anything from MLP was in the summer of 2011. I saw some captioned photos and I found them funny. when school started, i sat with my friends from 7th and 8th grade. Turns out they were bronies. I kept on hearing what they were talking about. I wanted to find out what, but I kept on procrastinating on that. Finally in February, I actually watched the first episode and continued on from there.

Just this May 20th (Brony Day). I liked the show a lot, but was afraid to think I was brony (the world gives us a bad rep sometimes) until I heard the song "Are you proud to be a Brony?" I loved it so much that I finally said I was a Brony.

 

I also want to point out that I watch the show because my little sister made me and I liked it (secretly) without even hearing about bronies. I AM LIVING PROOF THAT THE SHOW IS SO AWESOME THAT IT MAKES BRONIES WITHOUT AID FROM THE INTERNET!

But now we all have to wait for Season 3!!!

I became brony, because MLP:FiM was related to EVERY video on Youtube! But that's a good thing I guess. I couldn't deny the cuteness any longer! And so it is said from then on, FalconnHoof, became a brony!

Saw ponies everywhere on the internet, first thought it was weird or some trend that arose from 4Chan. (which to my surprise, I was correct on that assumption) But interest got a hold of me and I watched the first episode Christmas Day last year. I actually liked it, but being afraid of being judged at that time, I held the persona of being indifferent about it and refused to watch any further. Or at least, I tried.

 

My sad attempt at holding it off lasted for a little under a month, and by the 31st of January, I was already caught up. I got involved with the community when I saw the fan music and art. Fanfiction just glued me in from there. Now I'm here to stay.

I think it was last August, but I'm not sure. My beau's sister had a few hundred old My Little Pony toys in their attic, so we were trying to find information on any possible worth they might have. Somehow we stumbled upon the fact that there was a new My Little Pony show, so out of curiosity I looked it up on YouTube and started playing the first episode. Honestly at first I did it thinking I would make fun, but it ended up reminding me very much of Sailor Moon (which I loved as a kid/teen), so I decided to watch the full episode at a later time. I was pretty much instantly hooked.

 

Still don't know how to sell those ponies, though. ^^;; They're probably too dirty/damaged to be worth much... I think.

This is good show i have to find the rest of it!* thats the time i became a bronie lol...

How did it happen? Well it started basically on the SonicSpeedZone forums. I remember bascially some members going on saying, "ZOMG MLP FIM IS THE BEST CARTOON IN YEARS" I didn't know what it stood for so I checked out the link. Sadly I didn't give it a chance at that time

 

After a while, the show was exploding with popularity on the internet and I was so confused as to wonder why. I then just dug up more info on the show, seeing how Lauren Faust worked on the show which made me...well, pretty much jawdrop. I'm a huge fan of her work so I decided to give the show a chance with the first few episodes of the first season

 

And...afterwards, I was addicted. I really have no idea why but the show is hypnotic, addictive, and hard to put down. I have to watch an episode every now and then. Why? I don't know!

 

So yeah, that's the story really. Just another one of those people who say, "What's this? My Little Pony?! what's so popular about it?!" *minutes later* "WHY CAN"T I STOP WATCHING" might as well just keep watching, keeps me in a good mood considering of the drama going on in my life none of that! *drinks cider*
