gaming what's an awesome game you would recommend?

Night Wing

Space Station Silicon Valley.

THE most underrated game for the N64. It is a little broken when run in emulation, but still plays halfway decently. Just wish I still had my N64 if only to play that one game. I know every pony here would debate that their choice is the best, but if you never even heard of this game, at least check out a play through so you can see what I am talking about.

Also, the first Dungeon Seige game engine (ebb and aranna)

Earthbound is definitely worth playing. It's long, has a great story, and is super funny and challenging. If you do play it, i'd recommend staying as far away from spoilers as possible.

Its not as good as Alpha Centauri, or even Civilization V for that matter.  Its got a lot of good ideas, but very poor execution, and simply gets far too micro heavy later on (too many trade routes, too many redundant buildings, etc.).

As I said, I don't care. In your case, I respectfully disagree. Those ideas are enough for me, execution be damned. Even then, I don't see the problem, I'm fine with the gameplay.

If you haven't played these games, you should immediately!!

The Suffering and Eternal Darkness

Two fantastic games I still play today. I promise you won't be wasting your time. Unless you play the sequel of The Suffering. Waste of time and brain cells, but it does have cool monsters and Dr. Killjoy.

For a good old rpg (If you have a PS1 / Emulator for it), i would quite recommend Grandia 1. Not only for the music for its time

But as well with the unique written story.

And from that - If you don't have problems with "Furry" like story / characters, and getting through with a simple but fun fighting mechanic, where perfection can really make the difference in a good way, I would say that "Dust; An Elysian Tail" is a good game.

BIG RIGS: OVER THE ROAD RACING.

Nah, jk,

I recommend the original Genesis Sonic games, easily. Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Knuckles and even Sonic CD. As well as Super Mario World, Link to the Past, Crash Bandicoot Warped and Star Fox too.

Half Life, Half Life Opposing Force, and Half Life Blue Shift.

Also, Team Fortress Classic. Nobody plays it anymore, and I want more players.

-Cough-If anyone is interested, they're all on Steam... -Cough-

Fire Emblem Awakening, it's an amazing strategy RPG that really makes you think.

Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey.

RPG: Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Shin Megami Tensei IV.

Platformer: I Wanna Kill The Kamilia 2 and 3, Super Meat Boy.

Action: Metroid Prime Series, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

That's all I can think up of off the top of my head.
