I played an atari for like ten minutes once. I grew up playing the NES and put a lot of time into that and even tons more time with my SNES. I still have my NES somewhere, I don't know how I've kept track of it for so long.

My parents have an Atari of some type, but I never played it. The oldest I have played is NES. This had to have been well after the SNES came out for me to be able to remember it, but it is the first I remember playing.

 

I love the NES. My two fave games of the time were Original Metroid and Super Mario Brothers.

   The oldest game console I have played was the NES, the oldest I own is SNES, it has been working since 1992, my Super Nintendo was superbly built, same as the game cartridges. Although I lost my Nintendo 64 and Gamecube, my oldest CD console is the original PlayStation, in addition to my PlayStation 2, I will get an X-box 360 very soon, the only console I got for free was the Nintendo Wii, someone was throwing it away, despite it was working perfectly, it was barely played when I got it, so someone's loss was my gain.

I haven't used them, but my dad owns a Commodore 64 (1982) and an Atari 2600 (first sold in 1977.)

The oldest console I own is a Game Boy (1989.)

The oldest video game console I can recall playing is my grandma's NES. I don't think it works anymore, but I remember it being fun.

 

The oldest video game console I own is the original Playstation, and it still works well. I have fond memories of Rayman 2: The Great Escape, Crash Bandicoot, and Twisted Metal.

The oldest one I've played is a 2600. Played the crap out of River Raid, Warlords, Circus Atari and Video Olympics.

 

However, the Sega Genesis is the oldest console I've actually owned.

I used to play castlevania 1 all the time on my NES, I still have it (Im 15), Its my favorite game ever. The joy of accidantly smashing a wall and finding a chiken ahhh, Good times good times.
