Bumping the thread with more (weak) ideas for the future of the roleplay, all Colette related:

 

Colette's newfound fame in Equestria has garnered enough attention back on Earth to have an invitation to a special project sent her way. It's only for several days, so she eagerly accepts, but depending on how the roleplay goes, specifically whether or not she successfully builds any friendships/ a reputation, it may or may not cause a bit of pandemonium - especially if her presence is requested during her absence...

 

The next idea is especially weak, but I want to see if I can really rip Colette outta her comfort zone!

 

So far, the idea involves all the mares getting in a tizzy over a celebration/contest where the winner gets to be "princess for a day" - crown, royal treatment and all.

 

The winner won't become an actual princess, of course! They'll merely be trained on princess etiquette to officiate an event for a day or two.

 

Upon hearing of this event, Colette initially avoids it like it's jury duty, but is forced (most likely by Spell Caster) to participate.

This next idea is specifically a Rarity / Colette idea:

 

With the humans' inevitable sudden fame comes the opportunity to model for a popular Equestrian fashion magazine. Colette surprisingly agrees -- and seeks Rarity out to help her dress as a proper mare and gentlecolt, as she's no stranger to crossdressing.

 

I can only guess as to how the fashionista will take this request, but perhaps she can help turn this into a proper lady, if only for a single shoot!

 

 

I came up with all of these ideas with very little sleep, so any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Well, Randimaxis gave me a PM about this place a few days ago but were a little busy until now. Health issues y'know? But seems sorted so... I'll give this a go. I have 2 characters to use here, as most of my others are not under the specific races pointed out under the list (which is a bit sad, since one of them actually is a servant of Discords from some time back) but eh, not gonna be down on that. Just means more fun time with these two. ^^

 

For the record, I have not been able to find a definitive list for weight anywhere on the ponies, and where I live we use Kilos, so if the weight seems off let me know what seems more realistic, and I can edit that in.

 

Also, both of them have more expansive Bioses in my signature that can be watched. It will give more information if needed compared to this run-down sort of thing going on. They also have pictures of the ones in question, which will help a good deal I'd say.

Name: Blitz Boom.

Species: Unicorn.

Approximate Age: Filly, 10 years.

Mare or Stallion: Mare.

Height: 3 foot, 6 inches.

Weight: 60-90 lbs. She's small in it, so thinking this is right.

Eye color: Brownish-red.

Mane color: Red with yellow on top, looking like her mane is on fire. The tail follows the same, but looks more like explosions

Physical Description:  Her colour used to be orangey all over, but prolonged exposure to an unknown powder seems to have left permanent colour change to her body to an extend that any new fur she grows will have the same colour as the patches. She is a bit small in it for her age, but otherwise much like a normal Unicorn filly.

Occupation: Blitz is an inventor. Mostly she makes things that explodes (fireworks predominantly, but some high explosives too). She makes other things though depending on what catches her interest, though not everything works as intended.

Other distinctive features (if any): Blitz haves a pair of ornamental wings on, made from a thin metal belt/harness around her stomach and with feathers lined up in to give it the appearance of actual wings. They are not functioning at this point in time, but she is constatly trying to find out ways to one day make them work so she can fly like the Pegasi can. And despite the picture, her horn is not broken anymore as this RP goes on. It is simply that for my own thread for the time being as that one is set earlier in my head.

Backstory: Little is know about what went on with Blitz Boom prior to her showing up in the Everfree Forest a few months or so back. Where she's from, who and where her parents are, what brought her there... Nothing.

Blitz Boom is not even sure herself. All she know is that she woke up with metallic parts scattered around her in a small, scorched crater in the forest with a massive headache and no knowledge of how she got there besides an earth-shattering kaboom.

She knows her basics, and some knowledge is there that had to be passed down from some sort of parental figure, but most direct memories of her past is gone, likely knocked out lf her head in the process of getting her there. She doesn't concern herself with it though, as she haves plenty other things to occupy her busy mind.

During the first month after she woke up and her she were busy moving rocks and build a place for her ideas to be made next to the rundown shack that she sleeps in. The stone hut is made from small rocks fused together with a cement-like substance she made out of the parts of her assumed wreck and assorted things from the forest. As she doesn't know what exactly the things were she made it from she can't replicate the adhesive. The hut have just been set up and filled with some things she have made and the few things that wasn't used for her workshop.

Name: Doc Zinger. Or Ziggy, as she mostly goes by.

Species: Half Zebra (fathers side) and half Pegasus (mothers side)

Approximate Age: 19.

Mare or Stallion: Mare.

Height (Feet and inches): 5 feet. The background will explain the height.

Weight (in pounds): 120-180 pounds. Large margin, but hard to tell for me for sure.

Eye color: Pink.

Mane color: Two tones of pink.

Physical Description: Ziggy is a half Zebra, half Pegasus with the colours of her coat being a base neon-white with stripes of deep pink. Her wings are large and have some of the stripes on their back as well.

Short mane and tail in the same, deep pink as her stripes, but with the base being a light pink instead.

She's wearing a pink and white striped vest with three pockets on each side, a pair of glasses that are only the frames as she doesn't have an eye-problem. Frankly she just likes to wear the frames.

Her pearl necklace and the 3 rings sitting high on her on each leg are coloured pink by her own choice, but the rings are otherwise like any Zebra's.

She wears a necklace instead of the regular rings around her neck because it was a gift from her late great-grandmother, and it therefore holds more sentimental value than tradition to her.

Occupation: Doctor, with a speciality in setting bones besides the regular doctor knowledge..

Other distinctive features (if any): Ziggy tends to fly in a strange pattern, more resembling zig-zagging, squares, triangles and so forth. Sharp edges essentially, as she finds it better for her to use a flying style taking more advantage of pushing off with her hooves as well as wings. Limited space whilst growing up made her improvise like that. She can fly normally, but it slows her down mostly.

Backstory: Doc Zinger was born in Las Pegasus as Zingola, one of triplets to a Zebra stallion and a Pegaus mare.

Her mother was an accountant in the city and her father a mystic at one of the medium sized casinos in town, both jobs which helped them be financially safe when they had been told their one foal had instead been three, even if they had to rush things a lot to make room for all three.

Two of the winged triplets looked exactly the same: Their mothers base pink with a spot of lemon colour over the right eye on Sour Skies, and one over the left on Lemon Drop. The third was the out one of the bunch, having inherited a lot of her fathers Zebra genes into her Pegasus half, and he had been allowed to name her Zingola. Their mother had chosen the other names, and he knew better than to cross her.

They had been nervous about the triplets as there could be health issues in some cases, even when the doctors had said there didn't seem to be anything, but as the days had passed on and nothing seemed to be the problem they had ignored their fears, and when the tired couple looked down on the three newborn and heard no problems were there they felt a great deal of relief that everything was okay.

That feeling lasted about a year until the symptoms of something being wrong started to show.

Of the three foals, Zengola screamed quite a bit more than the others. Sporadic the first half year, but then to a near constant near the end of the year until her parents could no longer think there wasn't something wrong and brought her back to the hospital.

After a few days of examination under induced sleep, the doctors came back with the news that their foal was screaming because of growth pains, something the other two had not been put nder but had hit their halfling rather severely.

Admitting there was little they could do beyond easing her pain until someone with more expertise could fix things, Zingola was to stay in the hospital to make sure that her pains was eased as much as possible and she could be helped to adjust to her accelerated growth.

13 years passed like that, and though her parents often visited her, Zingola was still confined to either the hospital, the training centre to deal with her more and more increasing size or the little garden where she could spread her wings and get a few meters up into the air before the sunscreen would block her path. It wasn't ideal for any of them, but they managed things as well as could be considered.

She was towering easy over her sister and brother, whom she loved to bits, and was starting to grow over the head of her father too before somepony was finally brought in that could help things.

Her fourteenth year went on with sporadic mixtures of surgery and spells to get to the root of her bodies imbalance, and finally, two months before she was to hit her fifteenth, the doctors could conclude that she was safe to go home, now free of the major increase of her growth disease.

She was happy to return home and have more talks than the visits, but most of all she was happy to get out and be allowed under the endless sky.

Her parents thought her size would make it hard for her to fly, but the growth had hit her wings too, giving her a strong and large pair that easily took her around, although a little too slow for her taste.

The actual growth of her didn't stop for another year, although at a reasonable rate now, and when she was done she stood a head taller than her father, and several over her teenage siblings. The two of them joked that she was trying to grow up fast so that she could be as tall as Fleur de liss, but upon examining the height of her through one of the magazines they got it turned out that even the long-legged supermodel had to give in to Zingola, if only by a measly 4 inches.

During the three years after being declared cured, Zingola kept up with her training mostly out of habit, and studied on a doctor grade in her free time beyond that.

After her own experiences with especially bones, she focused on that subject, eventually learning all the inns and outs of being a bone setter plus some other medical training that was required to pass.

After the three years passed she made her family proud and brought home a diploma and a license to be a practising doctor, though much to their surprise her aim wasn't to settle down in town and take a job in one of the several hospitals in the large town.

Instead, she told them that just like the two of them and her siblings, she wanted to go out and find her special somepony, and the place where they would both end up fitting in.

It was a romanticised idea with an undertone of her wanting to go out and see the world she had been forced to just look at for so long, and her parents did try to talk her out of it, but eventually she went off, flying away from Las Pegasus and into the horizon to find her own place in the world.

During the year she have been around she have helped where she could, freelanced at a few clinics when she was low on bits and generally just been out and about in the world, yet to find that special place and pony she seeks. Still, she enjoys her way, especially now that it starts to lead her towards the capitol of Equestria and the villages within flying distance thereof. Especially the town of Ponyville was on her to-go list, having heard so much about Pinkie Pie and her friends that she just had to meet them eye to eye.

Cheese sandwich was never the super duper party pony that most of Equestria know him for, 

As a young colt, He was often one to be forgotten and alone, most filly’s would know him as the quiet  pony who always stood in the corner, much too shy to talk with anyone, not that he was the type of pony to enjoy solitude.  He just never felt like others would understand his “weirdness”. Any friendships he managed to make had usually started off really well but quickly faded as others found his personality to be too “strange” thus He never really felt like he belonged anywhere.  It had come to the point that one day he decided that he didn’t deserve to even stay in Manehattan. So in the dead of night he packed up his things and before anyone had awoken in the morning, Cheese had already left the city. 

. He trotted from village to village, not really understanding his place in the world and getting by from what little the nearby forests had to offer.

One afternoon, the young Colt stumbled un to Pony Ville, A small town not too far from Canterlot, and had suddenly found himself in the middle of a grand festivity, Ponies were laughing and cheering, everyone was happy and dancing, it was the best party Cheese had ever seen and in the middle of it all, a pony not much younger than him had been source of all the joy. Cheese had never smiled so much in his life, He wanted everyone to feel the  joy he had felt  at that very moment and suddenly…he had an idea.

.On that day Cheese had sworn to change his life, He would travel  all over Equestria and spread the happiness, laughter, and joy that he had felt on that day.

After a bit of thinking I have decided to add a third human in the mix. I prefer the character to be male, but I will consider a female if I'm impressed enough...

 

That being said, I ask that whomever applies keep the following in mind:

 

Weapons are a no-no. Other than the occasional nation or worldwide threat, all manner of legendary creatures, magicial princesses and gods of Chaos, your character should be fine! No need to bring a gun or a sword!

 

Don't forget your toothbrush! Equestria's a huge place that begs to be explored, and I plan to have to send the humans to as many places as possible!

 

Limit your Wangst, please. This is meant to be a lighthearted roleplay; I do understand that every character has some sort of hardship in their lives, but characters with excessively dark and tragic pasts will only bring the mood down.

 

On that note... No emo kids. Just... No. They're too whiny for my tastes!
