general media Thoughts on I Hate Everything?

So, if any of you don't know, there's a youtuber named I hate everything, he makes videos titled "I HATE -insert thing here-" and he talks about how he hates it, and a few reasons, now, if anyone here knows him for only one video, it's probably this:

-Caution, his language can be a bit much at times, and try not to get your Ocelot in a twist just yet-

 

 

So, before I tell you all what I think of his, -ahem- INSIGHTFUL OPINION  :okiedokielokie: , I was wondering what you all thought about him, and if you'd ever heard of him before.

I've never heard of that channel but it seems similar to another YouTuber called Gligar13Vids who makes negative reviews on good games titled BAD GAMES and even puts negativity on fandoms and other forms of media as well.

Eh. I can sort of understand being confused/annoyed by the fandom.
A lot of people won't get it, and thats reasonable. And the fandom DOES flood a large part of the internet.
I think he's honestly been rather fair, he isn't ranting on about how bronies are cancer or something, he just finds it odd. And that's fair enough >.< Because it IS odd : p

For someone who says that he hates everything, he actually puts a lot of effort into his rants and they don't devolve into "THIS THING FUCKING SUCKS BECAUSE IT DOES!!!!"-type rants, instead having pretty fair arguments in his videos.

That guy is awesome, his humour is perfect, and whilst I don't agree with everything he says (mainly the brony video) I always come out with respect for him, which is pretty impressive for someone who's username makes him sound like a troll.

I saw his channel a long time ago and wrote it off as another cancerous click baiting reaction channel.

YouTube user - Sees a video saying that something they like (i.e based on their searches on YT)

is hated, user clicks video, profit. Its the oldest trick in the book to getting some views.

 

I recall he did one on 4chan and learned absolutely nothing about the community.

Which to me shows him to rather baka since if you can't get an insight there you will have no chance for

other internet fandoms and communities.

That, and YouTube kept recommending me his videos and the face he puts in the thumbnails is nightmare fuel.

IHE is a very good example of comedy mixed with criticism. I like how, despite his name, he tends not to outright "hate" most things. And regardless if I agree with the video or not, I find his opinions quite informative. Either way I was already subscribed to him, he's a pretty funny guy.

I skimmed the video in the OP.  I like his confusion lol.  Though, while we're talking about being "obsessed" with this or that...

 

Why is everyone so damned obsessed with HATE?  Or "hate," rather.  Hate gets people commenting and discussing and "liking."  People "like" hate.  Or "favorite" hate.  Hate seemingly takes up more of everyone's time than...  The things we supposedly enjoy.  It's a reliable draw and a legitimate pastime.

 

P.S. I don't give a shit about a discussion that focuses on why you "hate" something; regardless of how thoroughly thought out it is.  If you're hemorrhaging hyperbole all over your Youtube channel, you'd better actually LOVE the thing you "hate."  Otherwise you're wasting your time.

I don't care if he hates mlp. He said his reasons and even gave the show a try, which is more than enough, just because somebody doesn't like a show you like doesn't mean you need to get angry at him. If we really like the show we shouldn't care if a lot of people dislike it. I am a brony (obviously) but some bronies annoy me just how anyone would get annoyed.
I enjoy his videos, he's one of the few people on the internet who has common sense. Furthermore, he doesn't hate everything, he's using hyperbole. People just take the name way too seriously. Learn to identify hyperbole, guys!
