Nothing. Because that food could be used for more noble purposes than feeding a dead man. Like building a giant monument made of food.

Let's be honest here. Most people won't remember a dead criminal. But the food monument is something that is certain to leave a mark in history. Especially the ensuing rat infestation and plague that would result from it. Fear the rat God!!! Sounds damn epic, if you ask me. Damn... I wanna be a disciple of the rat god, now.
