My Little Pony/Phoenix Wright Crossover!

There is a series on YouTube that crosses the Phoenix Wright and MLP universe. The story in a nutshell is that Phoenix is sent to Ponyville by Twilight who was looking for an Attorney to help Rainbow Dash because of a crime she didn't commit. The crime is the death of a Wonderbolt athlete called Ace Swift. Twilight accidentally used a spell that searches for the great Attorney in the universe instead of Equestria. Phoenix decides to help after some convincing since Phoenix refused to help at first.

 

The first story the creator is doing is called: "Turnabout Storm" which is the story I described above. Its 4 parts, and only 2 were made so far.

 

Part 1 was in Oct. 2011, and Part 2 was in Dec. 2011. There may not be a Part 3 for a while, but I imagine it takes alot of work to make this, so I don't blame the creator for taking so long. It takes time to make something as great as this.

 

I've seen both parts, and the series is amazing so far. The dialogue is so close to the Ace Attorney games, it looks like it was done by Capcom themselves. The characters were very accurate too. Phoenix, Twilight, Fluttershy, etc. Instead of just having text like the Ace Attorney games, voices were added in, and Im glad they did that because its alot more enjoyable to watch.

This series is just amazing. I can laugh at it genuinely, and the plot (not that plot) is very intriguing.

I've seen both part 1 and 2, but they've spent a lot of time on pt 3 as one of their voiceactors quit a quarter way through production.

 

Very well done series.

 

 

OBJECTION! There's evidence to say that Twilight specifically summoned Pheonix. LOL

I really love this series. I've never played Ace Attorney and this makes me want to play it. I probably woulden't be too good at it though so watching a playthough to see the story might be the way to go.

 

I remember reading that the next part he's releasing will be part 3 but from Twilight's perspective. I also remember him saying that he's going to upload a trailer due to all the confusion that part 4 isen't next. I'm just looking at it now on youtube and he said 4 days ago that the trailer will be up in a week or so.

This series is really good. I really like how they add all the elements of Phoenix Wright but also have elements from the other games like Miles Edgeworth investigations from when he was trying counterargue Trixie's logic.

 

 

 

I can't wait for that game.
