Would you paint a real pony to look like an MLP pony?

Painting a real horse/pony does not come off as an ethical thing to do at all.

I'm not meaning to rain on their culture, but I just flat out don't feel right about it. That poor horse doesn't look very happy, and I can't imagine that many would. Horses are living sentient beings. It doesn't feel right painting them.

No, for two reasons.

 

1. I'm too lazy to paint the whole thing

 

2. The pony wouldn't really look like an MLP one.

No. It would be cruel and unflattering. Plus, the pony would probably kick/bite me in the process.

It's not necessarily cruel.

Here is the definition of the word: 

 

If the paint is non toxic and won't harm the horse in any way, I wouldn't consider it as such.

Is it unflattering? It may be to some. But some cultures see it as beautiful.

That depends on which pony. It wouldn't take much to do an Applejack, for one. Or a Rarity.

It would be my will, more than his own. I wouldn't do it still, unless he ask me to.

Personally, I don't see any practical purpose in doing so.

Applejack, maybe. The others, probably not. As much as I would love a real life Rarity, I won't paint a pony to look like Rarity, either.

It wouldn't be the worst thing that you could do to a horse (the conditions of race horses are horrendous) but I am sure they wouldn't enjoy it, I sure wouldn't if i was a horse.
