See this is a strange question for me. I do not believe in shipping nor do I ship, but people get confused when any of my stories have a romantic element in them. I do not use romance to fuel "shipping" I use it to move plots along. Romance is often a device to move plots forward, thus why people notice I never really have any "distinct" pairs in any of my stories because I do not believe any of the characters "need" to be together, but rather that under the right circumstances, you could argue any of them could get together.

Rarijack is by far the best intra mane 6 ship, they have a really fun dynamic, which is featured regularly and a nice sort of "Different but Similar" thing going on. You can argue that it'd be hard for it to work long term, but A. This is fiction and B. that doesn't nescessarily mean it would fail anyway.

Fluttershy and Dash have a similar thing going on but for whatever reason I don't think they work quite as well as Rarity and Applejack in a romantic context. Still it's alright.

For ships involving outside the mane six, SunLight is really nice, Sunset is just a better match for Twilight than just about any of the mane 6.

 

 

I used to like AppleDash, then the dynamic basically all but died after S1 and I really can't care about it anymore, and looking back it was never near as fun as Rarijack, all it really has going for it nowadays is "they are similar and so are probably compatable" but this is fiction, so entertainment value kinda trumps that.

TwiDash I have warmed up to since S4 but when it became popular back during like S2 or so I did not understand why or how, cause back then Twilight and Dash really did not talk much, it felt like a popularity power ship. Now that I  have a more solid grasp on what their dynamic actually is I understand and kinda appreciate it.

 

I honestly can't really ship Pinkie with anyone for some reason.

I support just about any ship you can conjure up, but the only ones that interest me are TwiDash and AppleDash.  I can never decide which one I like more.  I would like Rarijack if not for the fact that we know Rarity's hetero, which just makes it difficult for me to picture the fantasy, y'know?  The other two only work for me because we don't know their orientation, so I can speculate and imagine.  Oh yeah, and I like LyraBon as well, but that hardly even seems like a fandom ship.  It's practically canon!

Twilight and Sunset Shimmer have a really great character dynamic and their interactions in Rainbow Rocks, especially the kitchen scene were highly enjoyable.

And I want to see more out of that.

SUNLIGHT. I ship Sunset and Twilight (Princess Twilight specifically) more with each movie. Hell, at this point I'm not convinced that Sunset doesn't canonically have a crush on Princess Twilight. 

 

I don't ship inter-mane six pairings as much as I used to, but I still have a soft spot for my original OTP, AppleDash. That said, I have grown increasingly interested in RariDash after "Rarity Investigates!" literally had Rainbow Dash take Rarity out to a fancy dinner. I'm telling you, the RD/Rarity dynamic is highly underrated.

I do not excatly ship anyone but I would like Stalight/Sunburst happen since there would be nice story possibilities with having a romance in the show and they could get nice charcater development interacting with each other.

But if I had to ship, I'd pick Big Mac and Cheerilee (which is kinda sorta canon, but I dunno), Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps, Spike and Sweetie Belle, Starlight and Sunburst, Lyra and Bonnie, Rainbow Dash and Soarin, Apple Bloom and Tender Taps, Scootaloo and Rumble, Button Mash and Babs, Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich, Celestia and Discord, and there might be others, but I forget.

 

But like I said, I'm more into FRIENDshipping, like I friendship Starlight and Spike pretty hard! I don't ship them, but I do see them as pretty close friends. Since Starlight and Sunburst would be a couple in my book, Spike would take the new "best friend" position along with Trixie. :3

First, thinking for all the time up to this moment and including this moment, that incorporating actual couples involving Mane 6 into the show would be a mistake.  That said, casual fantasies/stray thought are fun.

 

Rarishy is the CUTEST.      For sure, Rarity uses sweet endearments with pretty much everypony but am i delusional or are they even better with fluttershy.  She literally called her "sweetness" asdfghjkllk.  Also, there was something…some little trivia or "hot?" interviews with the ponies on the Hub website at one point and Rarity said a tidbit about everypony; Fluttershy was last and Rarity was like, "And of course, my dear Fluttershy!" WHYYYYY that's adorable.  Aside from Dash, Fluttershy gets matched up with Rarity the most in episodes, and Rarity with Fluttershy, more so than AJ even.  The chemistry is real.  It's a chemistry that lacks exploited friction so far too- in their own episode which was about a conflict between the two of them, they were both too nice to each  other, that was the problem.  it's just constant love and mane decorating and    cute things best things.  care 0% for thoughts of them as a romantic couple, they seem perfect as they are, actually.

 

Fluttershy/Discord is also totally good.    With some Rarity commentary, preferably.

Agree with the Rarishy stuff. Also, she called her "sweetie" four times in Putting your hoof down; and it did sound very...nice They also were trapped in a underground prison in Castle Mane-ia and Fluttershy hugged her (you can call it a hug). And PyHD and Filli Vanilli were about Rarity helping Shy overcome her fears
