Just made this thread cuz I found the topic interesting. I'll start.

Mlp: as some but not all of you know i was a massive hater, making fun of bronies and the show its self but upon watching it I came to appreciate the show for what it is.

 

Mlp aside i also really enjoyed Last Airbender and Ouran Host Club remembering wondering "what is this garbage?" Before sitting down and giving the shows a chance.

I would have to say MLP as well since I'm an adult and a pony cartoon seemed weird at the time  I also never expected to get into We Bare Bears but that's mainly because I'm not a big fan of bears

MLP is the pinnacle of this for me. Never before would I have ever thought I would love a show like this, but now it is the thing that has changed my life the most. Crazy.

 

Also, I never thought I would get into Steven Universe but I find that show to be incredibly charming.

Pretty Little Liars. I was pretty uninterested until my friend made me watch a couple episodes from season 1. Then a really long while after that, I watched it. I'm now on Season 2, episode 3. Haven't watched it in a while, I think I will. lol​

Like a lot of people, I didn't think Steven Universe was that good at first. I ended up loving it as the show went on though. And MLP too, obviously.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, The Walking Dead, Once Upon A Time, Gundam Wing, and Burn Notice. I'm just not a fan of television shows in general (since we don't have cable/satellite/Netflix/etc.). Not a lot of TV show watching goes on unless DVD sets are purchased.

 

MLP is by far my favorite, though, with Burn Notice and The Walking Dead right after.

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Steven Universe are the first shows to come to mind. With The Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes, I just watched it randomly without expecting much from it but it turned out to be actually pretty good.

 

As for Steven Universe, the art style/character designs initially turned me away, but I grew to love them and the episodes started getting much better consistently after about the first fourteen or so episodes. It's now one of my favorite shows.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - I had low expectations after the subpar 2008 movie, but after I sat down and watched the fist few episodes, it became my favorite show on Cartoon Network.

Well they are the old Mlp Shows, specially G3 and G 3.5 which i really liked. ( and if i say G 3.5 im talking about the Movie Twinkle Wish Adventure, not about this terrible one upon a pony time shorts   )

I found Mlp to be totally different than i expected, first the very dark beginning with Fireflys Adventure, than the Movie in which so many new characters were introduced, the series that followed was more like Fantasy than many other cartoons, instead of shows for little kids.

 

I was just surprised  

 

And Dc Stuff. Dc Shows, Dc Movies, everything.

 

I always found the superhero genre boring and thought that heros win so or so and that they would be no action at all or all this stuff would be just for kids.

I remembering watching the beginning of the first Superman Movie with Christopher Reeve and found it so boring that i just stopped watching, right at the beginning.

 

But then my father showed me " Men of Steel " , which showed me, that Superman and co isnt just for kids and that the super hero movies are full of action and exciting fights.

Than i started watching the superman cartoons and older shows, beginning with the 1940 cartoons, than the serial with kirk alyn and then the first live action show " Adventures of Superman " with George Reeves and i loved it  All of it    

 

Superman fights against all sorts of crazy Villains, they were action and even deaths in the television show, so it was completely different.

It was kind of series, at some points funny and full of exciting fights.

And now im a big Dc Fan and have a slightly big collection of Dc Shows and stuff.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, because it's fucking My Little Pony and I just spent my time thinking "yeah right, there's no way I'd ever watch this." Yet here I am now

 

Then there's plenty of shows a while back that I watched once and never again until just recently either because I though they looked dumb or the ideas behind them were dumb. Two of those shows were My Life as a Teenage Robot and Invader Zim

Haikyuu!!

 

I mean, it's a show about volleyball. I mean VOLLEYBALL! And yet, of has become one of the best animes I've ever seen and has some extremely diverse and unique characters. I'd recommend it to anyone, even if you think volleyball is still what my friends call "a girly sport" cuz it is anything but

Never think I enjoyed Gravity falls.

 

Naruto, Used to like it before now I'm really into, when seen enire series, wasa stress out when thing don't go well for Naruto but knew he going to do it.

 

there some other anime, like Gurren Laggan, Steins' gate and Persona 4, now I enjoyed these series. As for Akane Ga Kill, it the few characters I into.

MLP is one for me. I've known about this fandom for a few years, since it started. I used to just dislike it all, without ever giving it a chance. Earlier this year I saw a few episodes and fell in love.

 

The only other show I can think of is Steven Universe, and that's just because it starts off pretty badly.

Steven Universe:  It was one of those shows I put off watching for like 1/2 and once I gave it a shot,  I found I loved it!

 

Once Upon a Time:  Fairy Tales in the human world?  Magic?  A lost town and Snow White kicking ass?   How could I not love it...

Bob's Burgers! This is such a funny and charming show! At first, I was a little skeptical, but over time it snuck its way in as my second favorite cartoon --- next to MLP. Hands down, my favorite character is Louise. That cute little psychopathic hellion is so stinkin' adorable -- not to mention hilarious.

Gurren Lagann - a show about giant robots and has a lot of fanservice. I definitely did not see liking this one so much coming.

 

King of the Hill, too. At first I had it on in the background, and it seems like the dullest show ever. But when I actually sat down and watched it, it turned out to be amazing. It's how adult cartoons should be.
