I will say this first, Cadence has an absolutely LOVELY design and color scheme, I love that about her, but gah she is boring. Cadence is so,,,unintersting. Her voice is okay at best and overall she is just one of the more boring characters in the show for me. Pinkie, she is just awesome. Fourth wall breaking, gravity defying, reality smiting, cupcake eating awesome Pink Pony of craziness, what is not to love?    She seems like a pony that is fully embraces what she loves and enjoys and I absolutely love that in any character.

Pinkie seems to be more pink just shade.

 

Note how Pinkie's shade of pink is a lot darker than Cadence and a lot deeper. Plus, she's got more pink in her mane while Cadence seems to have a mix of purple in hers.
