What MLP species do you associate with as a brony/pegasister?

I would make a poll, but no I can't do that, cheers forums there, anyway the title is for everypony.

 

What do you most associate with as a fan of MLP?

Are you a Earth pony, pegasus, Unicorn, griffin or a dragon?

 

I thought i'd create this topic to see what people associate with maybe i'll make a vid on it.

anyway this song made me think of this subject

Earth pony.. because I'm more down to earth.. (Pun sort of intended )

The mane main ones i can think of are: Earth pony, Unicorn, Pegasus, Alicorn, Changeling, Breezie, Griffin, Dragon, Minotaur and.. Uhh.. I think that's it..

Or at least the only species i know of in the show which display at least a moderate amount of personality..

Hmm.. I can see Sea monster, Donkey and Bat pony as associative species.. but I don't think I've seen a Hippogryph in the show, and wolves (including timberwolves) show no personality.. and are sorta portrayed and mindless beasts..

 

EDIT: But yeah, in any case, I'd associate more with a Unicorn.. Thus my OC and profile picture

I see.. In that case perhaps revise the question as:

 

"What species do you most associate with?"

Earth pony, Pegasus, Unicorn, Dragon, Griffin, etc.?

 

As the etc. would allow for any species and stuff

 

But yeah.. there I go overthinking things again

@, I think instead of blindly creating a topic like this with no preparation or consideration for many of the species, you should have a couple minutes of thinking and list each type species that you can think of. Or research the many races that you may not know about and include them.

It's difficult for me to say i can act/react very differently depending on my mood and recent event's but i have two race i think fit me decently enough. The Pegasus, generally we see them laid back easy going but driven in what they love to do i'm very similar i also look at their ability to fly as a symbol of total freedom... yeah i'm jealous of a fictional race.

 

The only other race i could compare myself to is the changelings sounds stupid right? I change how i act a lot given the company if i'm with all my friends i'm very comfortable i'm myself no restraints, but if someone who i hang around a lot in the group is missing I've noticed i act more like them for whatever reason and around family i always avoid things i have to explain and i tend to drift away from the conversation just nodding and going ah-huh.

 

None of the races really have inherent traits except magic, flight and super dirt powers (earth ponies) so in away i don't know what i'm meant to be looking for/feeling towards them, but what ev's those are my answers.

I am a pegasus because they can fly and move freely without limitations and not being bound to earth!!! I would love to do that and i just dont like being tied to one place (my couch is an exeption)

Pegasus because they have a special link with environment, nature and weather, which are themes I studied.

They look also more independant than other pony races, building sometimes their lives in the sky, away from others, and I can possibly relate to this.

Definitely Unicorn. The idea of using magic to create things or accomplish things I would not be able to do regularly, that is something that appeals to me greatly. Unicorns also seem to rely a lot on imagination, at least, I would assume some of them do and I have quite the vivid imagination. :3
