I don't listen to rap very often (just not my style), but I've heard enough to know that I like Eminem. I've heard others that I liked, but never found out who they were. I really only listen to it when my co-worker plays it on the stereo at work.

My favorite female rappers are mostly:

 

Azealia Banks: even her old songs are still fresh and her bars are so flowing and rhythmic, I love her style

M.I.A: she's not that much of a rapper, but the songs where she really raps are really good, also her latest song Borders is tight

Dai Burger: she's a fun one, I don't really take her seriously because she's really new but her first mixtape was quite good

Shystie: I knew that girl from a beef that happened between her and Azealia, but damn she can spit.

Nicki Minaj: I actually got into her when she started getting "famous", her verse on Monster by Kanye is still iconic

 

Now for male rappers:

 

Childish Gambino: I really dig this guy, loved his LP Because The Internet, really hoping he's gonna come out some new content

Eminem: 'nuff said I think

Busta Rhymes: his tongue twisting songs are sick, I really like those

Twista: same thing as for Busta tbh xD

SOFTXSHUG: that guy has some really great content, I wish he was more popular. his latest EP "BRED" is gold

 

Also I like that one rapper that's called, me. I dig his style tbh

Ice cube's westside conection band was pretty good too. Right now i dunno if i'd call this rap at all, but in my head Limp Bizkit is a sort of rap. Closer to rap than Linkin Park(i like them too) but I keep listening to the Boiler song. It just reminds me of that PS2 game called Freekstyle.

memories. it also reminds me of those ATV (like ATV Offroad Fury 4)..

Rap is probably my favorite genre of music (if not rock). I'd probably say Eminem because he's the one that got me into rap. My favorite album of his being the Marshall Mathers LP and my favorite Eminem song would probably be Way I Am. Other rappers I listen to and like are 2Pac, Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Jay Z (mostly his stuff from 1996-2003), N.W.A., Nas (Illmatic, enough said), Outkast, Public Enemy, Run-D.M.C., Snoop Dogg, and the Wu-Tang Clan. Currently I'm listening to Big L's Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous and I'm liking it. Of all the rappers I need to listen to, my number 1 priority is to listen to a Notorious B.I.G. album after I'm done listening to Big L. Other rappers I still need to listen to are the Beastie Boys, Big Pun, Eric B. & Rakim, LL Cool J, Mobb Deep, Redman, and A Tribe Called Quest.
