Real life humans in canon equestria

If real life humans were in canon Equestria, would their appearance become cartoonist or remain realistic?

Generally having characters in different styles together doesn't look quite right.  I'd assume they'd keep to their overall style.

Cartoony, of course. It wouldn't make sense for everything to be cartoony but humans. Unless it's used for comedic purposes, like the live action shots of Boneless and "Gummy" in the Cheese Sandwich episode.

Technically, we would look in the same style as everyone else in that world, as that is what, I guess, 'realistic' looks like there. That or once we go there, upon seeing the world there in first person, everything is actually 3D.

If they were to look cartoonish, then they would obviously look like Equestria Girls characters.

I imagine that they'd be cartoony in design, probably borrowing design elements from the Equestria Girls character models.

Uhm, EG looks cartoonish enough to me, so I think using those designs in Equestria would work

@@Sapphire Lightning, truuuueee, but I think that's one of the few exceptions.  Plus, in that case, the visual difference between the toons and humans helped reinforce their differences in other ways too.   But I'll definitely give you that it worked there.

 I was more thinking like, if you mixed south park with simpsons, family guy with avatar the last airbender... stuff of the like. I can't see it fitting together well, so I imagine one would be converted to the other, as many (most?) crossovers do so.  :grin2:

I figure they would look like the humans in EQG do, since normal humans would look very out of place there. Although given Discord's portal to another dimension used actual sock puppets instead of animation it is possible they'd retain their regular appearance.

I think they would probably go with the equestria girls style, but with normal color skin and hair.
