movies/tv Deadpool (movie)

As Deadpool earned $500 million right off the bat from its release two (or three) weeks ago, in my honest opinion, it was one of THE best movie ever (and only a couple of movies like Suicide Squad) will rival Deadpool. I even love the post-credits scene and even tells the audience to not leave trash in the theater.

You don't have to be a Deadpool fan to know his fourth-wall breaking antics and whatnot. In other words, post your opinions of the movie of the same name. :)

WOOHOOOO, DEADPOOL! Yes, I loved the movie and I have also been a fan of some of the comics. I ship Spideypool superhard and ... I loved the Movie to my heart's content. I'll watch it over and over again without hesitation. All the Easter eggs, the puns and not to mention his beautiful buns! I am in love. <3

This movie was FREAKING awesome!!  It was literally the perfect super hero movie. However having said all that I did have a couple nitpicks with it these being: Colossus is always in his metal form which in the comics he isn't and my other complaint which is super minor in the grand scheme of things is that they focused on his origin story for far longer than I think they needed to.

But all is forgiven when you look at the film as a whole experience, it does far more right than it does wrong.

Literally saw this movie just now. Loved it. Definitely does Deadpool justice and definitely not for children or the easily offended

I saw it a week after it came out, and I loved it. I don't know if there's going to be a comic book movie this year that I'll like more than Deadpool. It wasn't a conventional comic book "superhero" movie (I use the quotes since as Deadpool himself said in the movie, he's not a hero), and that really worked in its advantage. It took a lot of risks that turned out to do well in the end. My one concern is that many studios will attempt to make movies that are like Deadpool that don't do well because they don't realize what made Deadpool great.

It was pretty cool, it was like a crazy Spiderman movie XD Loved it. The fourth wall breaking thing, I didn't know until I did some research on Deadpool. This character really makes anti heroes out to be some of the coolest characters in Marvel or the worst depending on your opinion, perhaps even both.

I wasn't a Deadpool fan beforehand, but Deadpool definitely is the most hilarious Marvel character I've met so far. Giving that movie about a 8/10 as well :)

I loved it.

I was worried that FOX would screw it up like they did with him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine or that the current political climate would make them too much of what makes Deadpool the character he is because they were worried about bad PR for the film from self-proclaimed moral guardians would hurt revenue or something.

So, I was pleasantly surprised with how much they were allowed to keep in the film-especially since this shows that R-rated superhero films and being faithful to the character (and not sewing his mouth shut) can be successful.

I do hope that the success convinces them to allow more than a handful of characters for the sequel, it did feel a little empty with just four or five mutants (and a mutate), but with the success of the film, they should be able to afford more characters if necessary for the sequel.

I was crying laughing, this movie was utterly hilarious. I also love how many times the movie makes a potshot against the last time Deadpool appeared in a movie (where he was also played by Ryan Reynolds coincidentally) and Ryan Reynolds career in super heroes movies.

"Don't make the suit green! Or animated!"

"Have you seen this man?" *Holds up crude drawing of Francis.*

"You're going to be killed by a Zamboni! Tell me where your boss is or you're going to die... in five minutes!"

Even though I'm not much a fan of violent movies, there's no denying that Deadpool was a great movie. Deadpool's personality was spot on and the fourth wall jokes were very funny.

I saw that movie with my boyfriend last week and it was awesome!  I'm actually doing a pencil drawing of Deadpool so I can upload it on my DA account. :3

Best part is that we went to the theaters during the day(Friday) and there was few adults there, no kids so I don't have to worry about them shouting during the movies nor parents talking loudly for the kids to explain what 'sex' means.

Am I the only one who is bothered by the lack of Deadpools voices in his head?

No, I forgot to mention it earlier-but, in the theater I was kind of disappointed that they didn't pop up in his head throughout the film even after they tortured/experimented on him.

Deadpool was just freaking hilarious. I hope everyone stayed back to watch the extra scene after the credits...

I must confess, before this movie came out, I had never even heard of Deadpool. Apparently he is a comic book character. Who knew?

Anyway, I don't follow super hero stuff, but with all the mad hype I've been seeing for this movie, now I'm interested to see what it's all about.

I saw the movie the day after it came out and it was amazing. It was awesome, hilarious, a great superhero movie in my opinion, and definitely worth watching. I might go see it again sometime when I get a chance.

It was definitely funny and I enjoyed the action. Unfortunately the tone of the present day scenes clashed with those of the backstory flash backs. It felt like I was watching two different movies and that made the pacing feel off to me. I was engaged w/ the Deadpool scenes, but I was bored during half of the flashbacks.

Not a deal breaker, but it keeps me from saying this is the greatest film of all the times.
