Back with two more

First up, I got Persona 4 Arena. Many of the songs featured on the game are tracks from Persona 3 and Persona 4 but there are some original songs as well as remixes worth mentioning.

The Arena (Naked Mix)

Princess Amagi <-- definitely my favorite track. Here's the arrange

Next is Skullgirls. I love its style.

For original scores, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (I don't care if it's a cliche choice) and Silent Hill are probably my favorites.

For licensed music soundtracks, all the Tony Hawk games between Pro Skater 2 and Project 8, as well as Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.

See if we can't pump some life back into this topic. *ahem*

Pretty almost every piece of Music from Thunder Force 4 I find quite good, they're the closest you'll find to a good guitar riff sound  within the capabilities of the Sega Mega Drive.
These two stand out for me though, enjoy. ^^

I love to play games, a lot of games actually. One thing I found in some of my favorite video games have in common is a great soundtrack. In addition to having smooth game-play, developing characters and a well written story-line, a game also needs to have a good soundtrack to back it up. Some of the most remarkable games of all time often have some of the most recognizable music, and there are plenty of games that fit that criteria.

More often than not you will catch me listening to a song or a track from a video game and I will play it out like there is no tomorrow. Here are just two tracks from two different video games that I enjoy listening to on a regular basis.

Number 1: Persona 4 - Corner of Memories

Before I begin to tell you why I love this song, I just want to get this out of the way. Persona 4 is my favorite RPG, period. This game feels so complete and well done when I had beaten, I felt this sense of gratification and happiness that you can only feel when a special moment or event has left a positive mark on your heart. I know that sounds rather over the top for some of you but that is my honest feeling for this game, it had that much of an impact on me.

If you have ever played and completed Persona 4 then you know EXACTLY what I mean when I said all of those things, and the song, Corner of Memories, does a fantastic job of reliving the emotions I had felt during that animated cut-scene before the credits roll. If you haven't experienced Persona 4, you are really missing out. Play this game the second you get the chance to.

Number 2: Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 - Seeking Answers

I know that not everyone who reads this post will have watched Naruto or have even watched the show.Just remember that this little list I made is just me expressing some of the songs that I like to listen to on a daily basis and I will explain the reason why.

I am someone who has not gotten into the Shippuden series like a majority of the other fans. I had only watched half of the original series and that was it. The only reason I had gotten into the Shippuden series is because my friends were getting Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and I didn't want to be left out.

The song "Seeking Answers" is the soundtrack to the fight between Naruto and Sasuke underneath the bridge in the story mode. The emotions that are flying throughout the battle are reflected not only in the dialogue, but also in the song that is accompanying it. The emotions of Naruto are telling him that his best friend is on the verge of inner destruction and he is trying to find a way to save him. Towards the end of the fight, Naruto realizes that him and his best friend, Sasuke, could have easily been in each others shoes, where Naruto would have ended up as the villian and Sasuke would be the hero. It's a rather sad and touching moment and the song does a damn good job of sparking what Naruto is feeling inside of you. This song has a place in my heart for that reason.

Those are just 2 of the songs that I listen to from video games. Now it's your turn to tell me what are some of your favorites. Don't feel like you have to explain them as much as I did, you can keep it short and simple if you want.

Because I couldn't come up with a way to end this post, I will put on a happy face biggrin.png

Hi there, @@TheFoolArcana515. Just an FYI to keep you in the loop, but your thread has been merged with this older one that discusses the same topic. Gaming is generally "Media Discussion" more than "General Discussion", for future reference. The search function could have prevented this accident. ;)

Had a feeling persona would be on your list fool arcana XD

I like the menu theme but prefer the "I'll face myself" battle track

I could ramble about any track from Dust: An Elysian Tail but for simplicity I'll just mention the menu music Falana ^^

Much like the others I could just ramble on and on but I'd rather just link it than bother with a wall of text but Bonds from Asura's Wrath :3

and with a less dramatic touch Hero from serious sam 3 XD nothing beats mutilating legions of aliens to this XD

Oh man, where to begin!

I guess I have to start off with the classics first...I love the old 8 bit chiptune days...In fact, a remix of the tetris theme is what inspired me to become a DJ and create electronic music!

I've never played a mario game that didn't have a good soundtrack...so those are definitely up there

Kingdom hearts/Final Fantasy has beautiful scores in every game, and yoko shimomura and nuobuo uematsu  do briliant work!

The creators of the ambience/music for the Portal series did a fantastic job on their pieces,

and a really random one...I'm a big fan of the music used in the "Amnesia - Small Horse" series...

however, I'm a little biased on that one, because someone in particular has a brand new song in the next

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

I did not play this game for long time now, but I always loved and will love this soundtrack. Fighting was even more awesome with all those tunes rocking during fights.
