But it seems like so many people have forgotten about her, that she didn't even make a cameo, in the slice of life episode.

Really. The last episode she was in, was in Baby Cakes, where she had that little argument with Pinkie Pie of keeping quiet. That was actually kinda hilarious.

She must be featured more in the background these days and sometimes it is hard to spot her, Ponyville can't do without their residential nurse pony!

It really seems like alot of Background Ponies from earlier seasons are just gone now. :/

I have my own headcanon about her disappearance. See, back in Seasons 1 and 2 there weren't as many big disasters. Season 3 and beyond Ponyville seems to be a dangerous place (what with Discord and Tirek and Bug-Bears and all that), so she's been really, really busy helping out in the hospital. So much so that she can't be seen anywhere else.

 

And even if that's not true... heck, she IS a nurse. They got lots of work to do, yo.

My theory: She was sorta promoted and transferred to somewhere either in Canterlot or Manehatten and now makes more money. Working at a place like that would be a tad more difficult, but because of her skills, I am sure she could handle that AND she makes more bits as a result. That seems liek a positive and possible outcome.

maybe she went to Spain. Or maybe space. Or maybe Spain and also space. Or, more likely, she's just been moved somewhere else. That's probably a bad thing, since there isn't another nurse or doctor.
