The fault in our cutie marks

So, it says its about flying ponies, and Twilight, Fluttershy and RD specifically are the flyers of the group. There's no twilight episode in there that I can see, so I'm betting the fault in our cutie marks is a Twilight episode; Maybe it has something to do with how Twilight's cutie mark has 5 stars and Starlight's a sixth addition to the group? (like how the EQG twilight's cutie mark image on her toys has six stars).

If it wasn't specifically about flyer ponies though, I'd say it'd be a CMC episode, given their cutie mark focus. (though, if its cutie mark focused, that's also up starlight glimmer's alley, and Twilight and her have been conjoined like twins this season)

Wow, this episode could be about anything. Pretty interesting to think about. Can't wait!

I'm kind of wondering if it'll be about a griffon getting a cutie mark; I seem to remember there being information at the toyfair about there being a griffon getting one this season, and that would sync up with how there's a gilda episode at the start,

That title just screams CMC to me. Maybe a Dash/Scootaloo episode? MORE Angst about her inability to fly? ALL the other episodes on the DVD are Dash heavy episodes even if she's not the STAR of Hurricane Fluttershy.

The DVD's synopsis not mentioning the CMC doesn't exclude the possibility of them having an episode on there. They've released a couple DVDs before that didn't mention them but still had one of their episodes included.

thinking about how there was supposed to be something to due to griffons and cutie marks this season, I really do kind of think it'll be a CMC episode, the more I think about it.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Rainbow Dash at LEAST plays a big part in the episode. The Griffons with cutie marks? Another Rainbow Dash/Scootaloo episode? Who knows, but another one would be great

or maybe we'll get that long awaited "Rainbow Dash befriends a sick kid" episode

Please, please be a Fluttershy episode. Or even an episode where she gets a decent amount of screentime. After what happened last season, and how things are looking this season, she has been really out of focus and I really don't want to see that continue.

Unless they can FINALLY find something new and interesting for Fluttershy to do, I would very much like to see it continue than continue to watch her spin in circles. Nothing with Fluttershy other than some of the stuff done with her relationship with Discord has given me any confidence that they do since like late season 2 though. In Season 4 they tried to mask that with crazy transformation gimmicks but now they are just not using her unless I assume they have an actual idea for her.

Frankly I think Fluttershy is at a point where she's so deep in a hole that she could be written out and not much would change.

I think it'd be interesting if they tried to develop her by giving her some sort of other goal in life.

Like, for example, we know from the breezies episodes that she had to contact an organization that was dedicated to watching out for the magical creatures of equestria first before interacting with the breezies. What if we had Fluttershy try and join that group to try and help out more with rare animals that need help?

It'd be interesting to see her try and struggle against her general desires to lock herself in her comfort zone and her general desire to help out animals, like how in Filli vanilli she didn't want to be on stage but also wanted to find a way to make the pet adoptions be a success.

I'm still waiting for the CMC Manehattan episode so we could see Babs! We're seeing Babs sometime this season, since we saw a cutie-marked picture of her on the MLP Facebook page. I'm still waiting for that.

John Green reference FTW. Ok, true his chosen title of the best selling novel was a reversal of a famous Shakespeare line, but since Green shares a similar age demographic to a percentage of the fandom ... I'll go out on a limb and suggest that this is a reference to his novel. So what does that mean exactly? While I do not expect them to directly address terminal illness in the show like the aforementioned book, we do have one character in the series with a potential disability.

I posit that this episode will directly tackle whether or not Scootaloo will fly. A strong disability would fit the novel reference tangentially. It could likely feature Rainbow Dash and fit the DVD collection, and Scoot's mark actually has a reference to flight. That is a key here. What if she assumes that her wing means she will fly, let finally comes to grips with her own limitations. This could lead to an internal struggle over the meaning of her own cutie mark, which is doubly interesting considering her destiny is partly focused on helping others understand theirs. The saying 'physician heal thyself' comes to mind.

Or ... if could be the Griffon one. ;)

The titles tell us very, very little really about an episode: Castlemania had nothing to do with castlevania for example, so I think that trying to discern a link between the fault in our stars and the fault in our cutie marks is a lost cause.

Most probably there's a cutie mark problem but nothing really similar to the book its referencing in the title.
