Derpy. I love her presistence and perserverence despite her derpyness. It is a real inspiration. Having mental troubles myslef (I have a partial brain) I identify with how hard she tries to be helpful while still getting in the way.

I always liked Minuette's design scheme, but I really loved her helping Twilight rekindle her old friendships. They gave her a great personality!

I also instantly fell in love with Lyra's voice! Goodness me I've always loved Rainbow Dash's voice, but I melted when I heard Ball's portrayal of Lyra's voice!

However, my favorite all time background pony is one of the few that still remains a mute.

Dear, dear Apple Fritter! I've loved her since the second episode I watched (the First episode of season 1; S1E7 Dragonshy was my gateway episode if that's what we can call it)

 

Who was the first family member introduced by AJ?? Apple Fritter, my friends. Apple. Fritter.

I just love her design (I've found I'm a sucker for pigtails and dual braids etc)

It's so hard to pick between any of them, they're all good. In the end, though, I picked Vinyl Scratch because the obvious reason why I would pick her.

Derpy... she's funny and I find her relateable. I'm actually almost as clumsy as her. And, who can't possibly not adore her eyes? XD

As for Vinyl - I love her design and her talent with music, even though that kind of music isn't really my cup of tea.

Who is yours? It can be well known or not so well known. Every background pony counts!

I am going to be putting together a little chart and record everypony's favourites and see who comes out on top. (Even though it might be kind of obvious).
