TheAnimatorOfficial 567 October 2, 2016 Share October 2, 2016 What will be the main target group who goes to watch the movie? Will it be mostly bronies? The main target for Hasbro is those who are new to the franchise, along with kids and Bronies.
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,322 October 2, 2016 Share October 2, 2016 Bronies will be the biggest audience to see it, I have little doubt for that. I will try to see it if I can. It doesn't matter what audience sees it though as long it is an enjoyable experience.

Denim&Venöm 18,717 October 2, 2016 Share October 2, 2016 The biggest audience will be families for certain. Kids and their parents will make up the majority of profits. But Bronies will be a big contributor. Not in numbers but in profits thanks to their disposable income. I'm definitely gonna see it the day it comes out. Or the days after, if business is really good.
CamoFanatic123 13 October 2, 2016 Share October 2, 2016 (edited) EDIT: Oh wait never mind you mean the 2017 movie? I'm not all caught up yet so I'm not sure. Edited October 3, 2016 by CamoFanatic123
cmarston1 5,959 October 2, 2016 Share October 2, 2016 I did see Rainbow Rocks in theaters, so I don't see why I shouldn't see the 2017 movie in theaters. Plus I am not really planning on seeing a lot of movies that year.
KatonRyu 1,033 October 3, 2016 Share October 3, 2016 Depending on whether they'll have the original version in theaters around here I'll go see it. I flat out refuse to watch the Dutch version. I am definitely going to see it, though. I still have hopes for it to finish the series strongly.
Dreambiscuit 9,623 October 3, 2016 Share October 3, 2016 It'll be a nice draw for families with younger kids. The older kids will want to go to the bigger budget Disney or Pixar of the moment. Bronies will make up a large part of the take, of course, and that'll include a few bucks from my pocket to be sure!
Nightfall Gloam 18,258 October 3, 2016 Share October 3, 2016 I will definitely see the 2017 movie! I will make sure that I do not miss the cinema release of this film, and if its an awesome movie, I might just end up watching it multiple times until the Blu-Ray or DVD comes out 1 Aspiring animator/illustrator, founder of MLPF's Lighthoof and Shimmy Shake fan club! RealityPublishing 323 October 4, 2016 Share October 4, 2016 Psh, I wouldn't miss this movie for the world. Considering I've watched every new episode live-stream since joining the fandom, I doubt I'd miss something like this. Even if it isn't at the theater, I'd still stay up to watch it through bronynet or something. (Then I'd buy twelve copies of it on blu-ray) @@cmarston1, I had no idea Rainbow Rocks was in theaters. Huh. Where at? I take it the showings were limited.

ThunderCrush 1,850 October 5, 2016 Share October 5, 2016 Assuming that MLP was originally for little girls that will be the target audience, but that's not going to stop me from watching it. I will try my damndest to see it! I don't care of I'll be the oldest one there, I wanna see the ponies! Amen to that my friend, I will be there with you. gamecubeguy214 2,512 October 6, 2016 Share October 6, 2016 I will absolutely see the movie. An entire movie of ponies sounds kreygasm. I would likely wait till it comes out on DVD or Netflix so that I can watch it alone in my room at 3:00 AM, which would be amazing. The Diver 760 October 6, 2016 Share October 6, 2016 (edited) I probably won't see it in theaters since I only go once a year or so. I'll probably wait until it comes out and I'll rent it first and, if I like it, later buy it. Edited October 6, 2016 by The Diver "I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L.
