So much social progress is on the line here, decades of civil progress is under threat by Trump and his troop of theocratic fundamentalists. Providing Trump sticks to his promises if elected, we can kiss the historic same-sex marriage ruling by the SCOTUS goodbye, a woman's right to choose goodbye, and so many other rights goodbye. As a Native American, I am legitimately worried about what a Trump administration would do to our tribal sovereignty rights.

 

I'm truly terrified for the future of this country, if I could afford to move to another country, I would.

Seriously, why are we getting pissed over who we pick as president? At the end of the day, it's still our choice, and seeing how this thread is devolving I can fully realize how polarized politics are made. 

 

Can't we just put our differences aside at the end of the day?

Nothing says he will stay in power all 4 years, he could get impeached for a numbers of reasons, most likely tax evasion.

The right and alt-right may have a victory for now, but much can change. 

 

Now, what do I personally think of him?He's a turd with an orange spray tan and a toupee of golden retriever hair. 

Beyond just derogatory insults, he well and truly is a complete idiot. He has only been saved through settling case after case, filing for what could best be described as "softcore bankruptcy", and throwing enough nonsense around to cover up his numerous other blunders.

 

On the bright side, hopefully there will not be a "No fly zone" in Syria, and MAYBE, just MAYBE he will cut ties with Saudi Arabia.
