Freaking Ducktales. A-whoo-oo.

80's and 90's cartoons had some of the best theme songs, like, ever. What ever happened to that?

Ed, Edd n' Eddy

Funniest show I watched when I was younger.

Then I liked Nascar Racers.

I was thinking the same thing. Great theme songs, and they were just over all better shows than what's on TV now

I loved Ducktails, Rescue Rangers, Ren and Stimpy, Goof Troop, and Tail Spin. There's probably a bunch of others that I can't remember right now ^_^

Best year for me? Either 1995 or 1999. Some of the best SNES games came out in 1995, and I was a huge Pokemon fan in 1999 lol

I miss all the innuendo in the cartoons, you don't see many of those nowadays. Man, was TV really edgy on the 90's.

Well, some of those are clearly intended, which is cool, but a lot of them aren't, and are just contrived, misunderstood or misresearched by the maker of the video. The Disney clips, in particular. In Aladdin, he's saying "Good kitty, just take off and go." It was unintended, but combined with Rajah growling, it was hard to make that out as it was intended, which led people to mishear it. As for the Lion King, it doesn't say "sex." It says SFX, and it it was intentionally put there by the effects animation team as a kind of signature. Though, admittedly, they could have done a better job making the "F" look less like an "E."

Delicious things of deliciousness. How I miss them...

Oh, also this, but this wasn't delicious. It was sickeningly sweet.

Another thing I miss from the 90's is the music. Least Hip-Hop back than wasn't such an uninspired genre as it is today.

Well, I was born in the 80's. As a matter of fact, all my siblings except my younger twin brothers were (they were born in the 90's)

I wish I was born in the early 90s or late 80s (I was born in 98). I don't remember really anything from that time, but all the stuff that I see is from the 90s is better than today, especially the music.

The 80s being lumped in with the 90s makes me almost as sad as when I heard Pearl Jam on a "classic rock" station.

Ooh, I remember what was really awesome about those decades was where if you had a question about something and you didn't know someone knowledgeable about something or have a book about it, then you would just never know the answer. No wait, that kinda sucked.

I'm also nostalgic for having to actually pay money to listen to a song or see a movie, and the prices were jacked up real high cause the entertainment industry could get away with it. No wait, that sucked too.

Ooh, I'm definitely nostalgic for the big uproar about violence in kids shows, and people actually claimed Looney Tunes was too violent and Power Rangers was basically going to turn all us kids into blood crazed killing machines. Oh wait.

Nah but anyhow there is definitely some good rock music from those decades. But there was also good music in the 60s, and 70s and this decade too. I don't know what the fuck happened during the '00s, but it seemed like all the modern rock stations played was:

Linkin Park song, Nickelback song, 10 minutes of commercials, repeat.

Those were truly some dark days.

I was born in the late-80s and am the definition of a 90s kid, but I don't really feel anything for either decade. I'm actually pretty tired of 80s music and games getting so much praise and attention. IMO, music was the best in the 60s/70s and games were the best in the late 90s and early 00s.

I've never jumped on the 90s hype bandwagon, either. Sure, I enjoyed the cartoons like many others, and the games... But I think that good cartoons are found all-around if you keep on looking. And I think I actually prefer games in the 2000 - 2004 range more than I do in the late 90s.

The 80s being lumped in with the 90s makes me almost as sad as when I heard Pearl Jam on a "classic rock" station.

Yet I'm sad to see the 80s getting lumped in with the 60s/70s. I can't find an oldies station on the radio anymore that hasn't had the 80s eventually invade it.

80s music has a drastically different sound and feel from the 60s/70s, so it is REALLY irritating to me.

i may not be a fan of the 80´s or 90´s (yeah i think 00´s and 10´s hip hop is better, sue me), nothing will replace the wu tang clan from the 90´s

NOTHING.

apart from that, and maybe mainstream radio, i think the 90´s and 80´s are just seen with nostalgic glasses, thats why they seem better.
