I think I'm starting to find the generation 3.5 style cute

I know a lot of people find generation 3.5 art style to be kind of creepy, but I was looking at it recently and I find it actually kind of cute and I also noticed that gen 4 kind of has the same proportions as 3.5 and gen 3.5 is just chibi versions of gen 3 only somebody so heartless with no soul would find a chibi not cute lol, but  the newborn cuties still scary beyond all belief like Ezma from Emperor's New Groove so what do you think? cute chibis or kind of creepy?

And before I wrap this up I will add something funny just for all of you from gen 3.5.

Well at first I was not to fond of the style, but I was looking at it and started finding them cute they are just chibi versions of gen 3

And I don't have a set favorite pony due to I like a lot of them like Toola Roola, Scootaloo and a few others, what about you which one is your favorite?

yeah, they are pretty cute. who doesn't like chibis?

I've always had a soft spot for Toola, since we're both artists, and she has an quite a unique color pallet, compared to the other ponies. She's just adorable.

Toola Roola is a cool character, but I've noticed she has similar colors to generation 3 Rarity which hey sharing close to the same colors as royalty not bad.

Long before I became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Before Pokemon came into my life.

Before I was a fan of Tiny Toons or Animaniacs.

I actually did have an interest in the original Generation of My Little Pony called "My Little Pony and Friends."  I recall mostly the episode where the Seaponies are without water, and Megan goes to find water for them.  I also recall 3 cartoons that also followed My Little Pony back then: the Glo Friends(Another Hasbro franchise involving cute bugs that glow in the dark(Hasbro, please resurrect this as apart of the MLP;FiM Universe)), the Potato Head Kids(I didn't care for this), and Moondreamers(Which features Tress MacNeille as both the Main Protagonist and the Main Antagonist).

Recently, I have the original G1 series(Movie included) on DVD and I will check it out ASAP(Along with Transformers G1 and GI-Joe G1).  Also, I should get Jem and the Holograms(The original cartoon, not the horrible movie) to complete my Hasbro Classic series sets.

3.5 doesn't look too bad

I think people just hear 3.5 and immediately think of Newborn Cuties, which is one of the fugliest things I've seen

Hasbro's earlier works seem to be better, but every good thing must change with the times it would be nice to see some old shows return and its nice seeing people who appreciate the older mlp generations I have nothing against people who don't like the older generations of course its their choice.

I agree I never liked the newborn cuties saw one episode and said nope never again, but gen 3.5 is pretty much gen 3 just chibis.

Thanks.  Personally, I would like to see the Glofriends implemented into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  Maybe as semi-guardians of the Dream World, as well as creations of Princess Luna.(Who are as sentient as the Equines)

That actually would be interesting if they were added in I'd give it a watch.

Are we not all, but a little heartless lol and its fine if you don't like the style everybody has their likes and dislikes with gens to be honest my favorite will always be the generation 1 twinkle eyes and I must agree with you Ezma is pretty funny she made the movie and Kronk its one of my favorite Disney movies even if its not popular.

I too enjoy G3 & 3.5 (NewBorn cuties should be qualified as being neither and it's own miserable creation, left to sit int he corner to think about what it did wrong.) 

The G3 designs were aesthetically appealing and the G3.5 updates only improved things further. While they may have been saccharine, the G3 episodes weren't objectively bad and Twinkle Wish adventure was an alright film, the last great hurrah prior to G4.

Heck, I think G4 would've been still respected if it had the 3.5 art style.

I also think 3.5 ponies are often hated out of being mistaken with the Newborn "Cuties". I think G4 will have a similar situation as this one day

I agree I have no idea what they were thinking when they made newborn cuties -_-, a good thing about gen 3 and 3.5 is the episodes were short so they were easy to watch yes there was a lot of pink in it, but its mlp its suppose to be pink, but it was not horrible I love the design for gen 3 they had some really pretty ponies and gen 3.5 just made the characters more adorable especially the toys and I also agree if they kept the same style as gen 3.5 I don't think it would have changed anything they would just be cute chibis running around and gen 4 is already chibified all around the internet.
