I LOVE this episode! It has so many jewel moments. I really like it when we see Luna looking awful at mornings because she's definitely not a morning person (many of us can relate to her). You can really feel the tension when Starlight questions the sisters' behavior and especially when she changes up their cutie marks, these scenes feel even more tense in my opinion because we never see the sisters being triggered like this; it's not the same looking at Tia and Luna angry at a villain like Tirek for example, than seeing them angry at a normal little pony (I know Starlight was a villain in the past but she's reformed here so it just hits different in my opinion). I absolutely love how we see this more personal and real side of the royal sisters we rarely seem to see. They're usually portrayed as perfect and super wise beings, but on this episode we see that they have feelings and conflicts, just like anypony else.

Starlight Glimmer was in a no win situation here, when mediating the spat between Princess Celestia and Princess Luna

while swapping their cutie marks was a bold move on her part that could have gotten her exiled from Equestria, it was imperative to stop the argument between Luna and Celestia. Luna clearly still had unresolved problems that Celestia had neglected to discuss with her sister and help her through, so I don't feel like Starlight Glimmer was at fault for this one.

I liked this episode, we get to see Starlight Glimmer putting a stop to an internal conflict and for Celestia to finally understand her sister more.

Really, I am stunned to see that this episode gave rise to a right proper drama here on the forum.

I've been adding my comments to each and every episode of FIM, in order, and this is the first episode thread I've seen that has a standing warning about being nice.

If there was drama here, I'm sure there was drama elsewhere, but I can't see why.

This episode was funny.

My OC is a currently serving member of the EUP Guards and I thought this was hilarious.

Certainly there was nothing here worth arguing over or being nasty about.

The pouty face Princess Luna made for the newspapers was perfect.
