The absolutely simplest thing made me happy as hell recently. My girlfriend got me Pokemon Black 2. No, that's not it, this thread is about simple things.

 

No, what made me cry out in glee was when I faced my first gym leader. After knocking out his first Pokemon, he sends in the last one he has, the best Pokemon he has, and then all of a sudden, this starts playing. Every time, it feels climactic as all hell.

Taking a nice, deep breath through my nose. I had problems with my nose for 20 years of my life and got it fixed a few years ago. It's not as simple as this, but imagine having a stuffy nose to the point of necessary mouth breathing 24/7, 365. I had no idea how nice it feels to just breathe.

 

On a less poignant note, I also like running my fingers through hair or strings like on tassels. I don't know why, it just feels really nice! XD

The noon-day sun on a clear day. Something about that time is always so peaceful. The sun is at it's highest point in the sky - half the day is behind you and half the day is ahead of you. No matter what the temperature is, it could be the dead cold of winter or blazing heat of summer. I don't know why, it just seems to put me in a really calm, serene place mentally.

 

Hearing a catchy new song on Pandora.
