CastletonSnob 3,089 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 Yes, I know the 2010s aren't over yet. The 2010s have been a very good year for animation. Where would you rank MLP in the top 5-10 cartoons of this decade?
Black Sabbath 2,488 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 (edited) Depends on how one would define cartoons. If we're including anime, it wouldn't even make the top 10's. If we don't, I'd probably rank it somewhere around 6-5. Edited July 19, 2017 by Yamet

Tacodidra 61,713 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 (edited) To be honest, I think it would be in my all-time top ten, possibly even challenging for a top five position, but I can't say where exactly. Compiling such a list would be too difficult given how my preferences have changed with age or even in short periods of time. The only thing I know for sure is that the Looney Tunes would be my #1, as they are the only cartoons I have loved since I was a child and never stopped liking. As for this decade, the funny thing is that when I watch cartoons, I usually go for ones from earlier decades. Unless I'm forgetting something, MLP might actually be the only cartoon from this decade I have seen multiple episodes of! Most of today's cartoons just don't pique my interest for some reason... Hierok 11,833 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 I don't really like the cartoons in this decages, so it would be one. With Gravity falls close behind. If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example. Sorry for it already. Discord, Twilight, Sunset, Fluttershy, Starlight, Rarity, Luna, Celestia, Big MCintosh, Cadence, Shining, Minuette, Lyra, Rara, Sweetie Belle, Cheerilee, Derpy, Spike. !Feel Free To Talk And Walk Where Ever You Like On This Forum! cmarston1 5,964 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 Well let's see My favorites would be Korra, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and then maybe Friendship is Magic, but then again Voltron Legendary Defender could come before that as well. So either my 4th or 5th favorite.
Tao 8,921 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 That is a bit of a hard one! I would give MLP a 8 in my book when it comes to western cartoons if I don't pull in my anime favs. It has good animation and story and just is fun to watch and the fandom is grand! KH7672 1,604 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 The 2010s have single handedly kept my interest in cartoon into my early 20s. I would rank MLP probably #6(the future seasons may improve that ranking) so far under 5. Dan Vs.-the show that brought me to The Hub in the first place 4. The Loud House-got me back to watching Nickelodeon 3. Amazing World of Gumball-The funniest cartoon I've seen in a long time. 2. Steven Universe-with fun characters and deep story always a joy 1.Gravity Falls-Just perfect And above my just as fun cartoon favorites (Adventure Time, Regular Show, We Bare Bears, Wander Over Yonder) One of my most ambitious role playing experiences. Plus other smaller stories and commentaries throughout the cup threads.

Luminance 2,187 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 I don't watch cartoons as much as I use to but seeing that MLP is currently the only one I actually like for many reasons, it would probably be my first choice. A close second would be Avatar: The Last Airbender or Legend of Korra.
Deae Rising Shine~ 57,413 July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 Pffft, that's easy, I barely watch any cartoons, except stuff like Simpsons, American Dad and so on, so it is clear where it ranks. Heck, even if I watch all those other cartoons, MLP clearly seem to be my all-time number 1 ever since starting and ALOT must happen to kick it off the throne for me. Legends never die. Ponies neither. Rainbow Dash is best pony! Ava made by Pandora^^
Drunkfrank 1,125 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 1.) My Little Pony 2.) Star Vs the Forces of Evil 3.) Steven Universe 4.) Avatar the last airbender 5.) Star Wars the Clone Wars My top 5 favorite shows of all time right there, I hate anime with a passion, but DBS would be in my top 10 probably
Tilgoreth 1,915 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 Maybe at 10. Legend Of Korra, Steven Universe, and Hanazuki Full Of Treasures are higher. And yes Hanazuki only has one season and I'd put it in my top 10 cartoons of the 2010's. Signature made by Kyoshi.
Zachary 5,522 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 I would rank it #2 since The Loud House is my #1 Favorite Cartoon. Thanks Kyoshi for the Signature
Steve Piranha 29,495 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 I don't think I'm in position to rank any shows, as this is the one I watch constantly. The second I've watched the most is Star vs the Forces of Evil, but I've only watched the first season and some of the second, and now I don't use cable TV. I could seek a web page to do so, but the ads.... Sig by Discords
Dreambiscuit 11,300 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 Among shows from the 2010s I'd easily rank it in the top three or four, along with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels and Dragons: Riders of Berk (which changed its name every season). I love Miraculous Ladybug and Monsters vs Aliens (the series) but MLP still gets higher ranks overall. Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse is an online micro-series with only two-to-three minute long episodes so I don't know if it would fit in the same category, but it would be way up on the list.
