General Ever been to a concert?

Recommended Posts

I've never been to a music festival or concert before... I really want to though! I'm always either too tired or busy to go to any local ones. Going to a Vocaloid or any of my favorite bands concert has been a fantasy of mine since I was younger. I hope to go to a moderately sized concert with a group of friends. That probably won't happen though... 890c91507354bd926199602ece782b1f.gifHave any of you been lucky enough to go to a concert or music festival?

Only to small and local concerts. Many of the bands I have seen are actually no longer together so I am glad I was able to see them, like Shattermask and Dunwich.

They're all music festivals. :smug:

Would recommend to visit tomorrowland once in your lifetime.

Ps: You shouldn't be afraid to go to any concerts or music festivals. Enjoy your youth as long you can. Just do it!

I don't even have their albums. I just happened to be in a city that they were in. I got an autograph.

I went to the carnivors tour, which was 2014. The acts were 30 seconds to mars, linkin park, and the opening act was AFI.

Linkin Park just released the hunting party (amazing album, BTW) and I actually ran into Jared Leto coming out of the elevator.

Yes. And I dislike them a lot. Not a fan of places of that sort.

I've been to plenty of concerts, for high school bands (being that I was in the high school band). But if you mean otherwise, I've been to a "concert" or two starring a small-time local artist that was a junior or senior in high school at the time. I didn't enjoy it entirely, with all of the raucousness.

Though my brother went to Warped Tour twice, and from what I heard, I wouldn't ever go to that. Partially because I'm not the biggest fan of modern punk rock music, but also because it sounded like a really miserable time.

I've been to see black sabbath and also disturbed because my family were going and I've also gone to see a local band play once.

I turned 18 a couple weeks ago so hopefully now I can go see smaller bands that are actually good like thy art is murder, fleshgod apocalypse and insomnium and stuff.

I saw both Streetlight Manifesto and Chicago in the same year (2011). Aside from classical concerts those are the only I've been to. It's very likely it will remain that way - I can't do that to my ears ever again. But I'm glad if I ever got to see two bands it was those two.

more local gigs than big concerts.

the only concerts Ive been to were to see Elton John, Status Quo and Bellowhead. And I guess a bit of Rod Stewart, but I was working for dominos then, our store was right behind the stadium so we certainly heard all of it.

I've also seen Seth Lakeman and Show of Hands Live a number of times

(they're British folk groups I dont know if they have an international following)

I haven't been to a lot of concerts, but I went to see N'Sync and that was really cool. I saw Foreigner when they stopped at a Casino and that was really cool. I don' know if this counts as a traditional concert, but I saw The Clairvoyants live in Oklahoma a month ago (they were second place runners up on America's Got Talent).
