movies/tv Who's hyped for "The Last Jedi"?

So I'm not sure if hyped is the right word, but I'm looking forward to it. I thought "The Force Awakens" was okay (if a bit of a rehash of the original Star Wars) and I love getting to see Star Wars movies in the theatre. Internet hype says this is just going to be a rehash of "Empire" but we'll see. I mean, I'm a bit of an Original Trilogy purist and I'm a bit miffed that they scrapped the Expanded Universe (but at least we got Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels). Here's hoping that Kylo Ren becomes a more intimidating villain than the tempur-tantrum throwing emo in TFA. Also, RIP Carrie Fisher.

Oh yeah I'm excited af! I loved Force Awakens, I don't think it's an amazing film, but loved it nonetheless. Pretty much going in blind other than a few posts I ran into but nothing plot revealing. I'm curious to see where Last Jedi is going to take us with Rey and how they will shape her character more. I like to see force awakens as an introduction of this new series of star wars movies. 

Extremely hype to see what's gunna happen with Finn!

Episode 7 while it was cool but a bit of a let down it being a rehash, while Rogue One I consider my all time favorite. I've seen the episode 8 trailers and it looks promising, me and some co-workers plan on going the day it comes out. I also found an Imperial Officer uniform, I plan on buying that and wear it to the cinema. Should be a fun night regardless if I like the movie or not.

I am careful about any TLJ news, so I'm not reading any posts in here in case they have spoilers. 

But yes ...

I'm avoiding all Star Wars-related corners of the internet from December 1st to the day I see the movie. I had a very major plot point of The Force Awakens spoiled by YouTube comments before the movie even premiered. 

But otherwise I'm hyped.

I always look forward to seeing a new Star Wars movie, albeit with more trepidation now considering what they did with TFA. I liked Rogue One because they didn't have any of the main characters to kill off for a meaningless dramatic beat. It was a fun story and I liked the new characters. I'm not even going to go into what I thought of TFA (it ain't good). The Last Jedi already has me feeling a little wary because of Luke's line in the teaser trailer (it may be a spoiler so I won't quote it here). It may be taken out of context but it seems to suggest that once again the filmmakers have no real grasp of the Star Wars saga, it's characters or it's history. I will go to see this movie on opening night and I will keep an open mind, but I will not have my hopes up. I desperately hope it's good, I can't live without Star Wars in my life.

I'm not really looking forward to it since I haven't seen any of the new star wars films, it seems alright but I will wait for all three to come out so I can watch them all although I will make time for that Kenobi movie if it comes out before Ep 9

As for the trailer it is kinda misleading like the last one for example : a tie fighter comes up behind ray while she is running on the catwalk but that scene wasn’t in the movie it was scrapped so I’m hyped but also worried at the same time that it might happen again although jj abram isn’t directing this one (I think)
