Might as well just have one big state in the middle of the country, joining the Northern Territory with South Australia. As for the US, I guess Delaware and Rhode Island are so small they seem kinda pointless to be there IMO. Also just give Alaska to Canada or Russia and give Hawaii independence. I had the misfortune of living there once and I still have the smell of chicken poop and mildew in my nostrils. Nothing to do, hundreds of miles from everywhere, terrible services and, with only a few exceptions, deplorable lack of work ethics. A state-sized sink hole would be better.
