He wrote to me about a group of bullies who were making fun of a poor dragon who was unable to grow wings.

 

When Spike heard this he told his new friend about how worried he was before he grew his wings 

 

& that, with a little bit of time & patience the dragon Spike befriended would grow theirs, too.
