What if Princess Celestia caused an earthquake every time she sat down?

Knowing much cake Princess Celestia eats, I think it could happen.

we don't actually know how much cake Celestia eats for that outcome to come to pass. The comics actually  showed that her royal advisor, Kibitz, had her on a strict dietary regimen, which was seen as standard for the Princesses (even Luna). So Cake could be just a "treat on a special day" sort of thing, if she's always shown to be eating healthily enough.

The strategic placement of thumbtacks throughout the castle on all the seats should help reduce the number of earthquakes caused. It would be bad enough if she caused an earthquake everytime she sat down, but it could be far worse if she sat down and then farted. :-P

I've likely said this before, but I'm concerned about the mental state of Bronies--myself included!

Dat flank tho!

Through friendship, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory.

Through victory, my chains are broken. Ponies shall set me free.

I would advise her to eat less beans....

(and end up thrown in a dungeon in the country she banishes me to; totally worth it)

What if magic levitation requires some comparable use of physical strength? I think she can stand to eat a ton of junk food. She benchpresses the fricking SUN.

Actually, that sounds like a really interesting theory. Does acting out Magic require physical energy? Is that why almost all of the powerful unicorns are rather slim in their build, even if they eat cake on the regular? How much Magical Energy can be restored by sugar intake? This could explain a lot about the effects of casting magic on its caster.

It really wouldn't be MLP forums without these types of threads. Anyways, an easy solution is to destroy anything she can sit on. No sitting means no earthquakes.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
