I'd probably buy a house and donate a certain percentage to friends and family.

First I'd hire a team of lawyers to manage that incomprehensible amount of money. 

I'd hire a publicist/ spokes person to clear up any news or rumors about my fortune. State that it was actually $1 million. People will be impressed and I'll probably get more attention than I want, but at least I won't have investors trying to be my friend, gold diggers at my door or ransom notes sent to my folks. 

Speaking of investors, I'd take about half of what I got and invest. Stock from consistent companies and proven commodities. Real estate. Land stocks. Precious metals as a hedge against inflation. Play the long game with the market. I'd also begin depositing $5K into a Roth-IRA. Pay tax up front and then get it out with interest down the line. 

After that, I'd effectively retire. Sleep in. Watch videos. Go on here all day every day. Up my forums subscription account. Be lazy till I get bored and want to use my money to better myself. Go back to college and get degrees for the sake of learning. Donate like a thousand dollars to every animal shelter in America and Canada. Maybe back some crowd funding projects. 

Build my dad that bomb shelter he's always wanted. Buy my mom that snow leopard cub she's always wanted. Buy myself a tank, and some lessons on how to drive it.  Buy myself a fur suit too. Throw money at people complaining about me being a furry so that they'd shut up. Buy that third season of Spice & Wolf me and every pony else has wanted.

After that I'd travel Europe. Experience the history and culture and three day heavy metal concert festivals. Head to the other side of the world to Japan and attended some anime conventions and wrestling shows. Vacation in the arctic circle during the summer. Experience the mid-night sun once more. Go on a writers/ artists retreat and rediscover my creative passion. 

With time and money, I could do anything.

I'd play a few rounds of golf with Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, and a few other billionaires. Just for fun. lol.

I'd continue to invest so that the money will grow and be there for my family. Large purchases: 3000 acres of land near a national forest and a ridiculously large telescope enclosed in a luxury observatory. I would also buy that SWIR camera I've always wanted, too.  

I also want to donate generously. Like Dave Ramsey says: "Live like no one else, so later you can live and give like no one else."

I think I'd live in Toronto for a while and go to school, then I'd move back to my reservation, buy my own plot of land and create an off-the-grid house.  I'd have my own goats, cows and ducks/chickens, I'd take in some old horses.  Get an aquaponics set up for food and have a greenhouse made specifically for growing fruit trees and then build my dream house.  Then I'll go around and help renovate other people's homes and get a better water setup for my rez since a lot of people there have no access to clean water and since we're down stream from a few plants, river water is absolutely unsafe to drink so getting clean water to everyone would be a top priority for me.  Of course, over this time I'd plan on getting some good investments to hopefully grow my capital.  If everything that's needed is taken care of, I might help kids go to college.  A better rez starts with education and a strong local economy, they don't even have a grocery store over there and I wish more businesses would go there.  A Bulk Barn and fabric shop would do amazingly well over there.  I wish more people saw the potential that I do....

I'd move to the east coast of Florida. Get a real nice house with a couple of cars and a boat. Probably a few other things too, but the rest would go to my investing agency.
