I feel tired. I kinda woke up early today and couldn't fall back asleep, so I got up because I didn't wanna struggle. Other than that, I feel happy.

Is it too late to fix it? Maybe the maturity is not always keeping from making mistakes, but learning you made them soon enough to repair.

Oh, but I'm dead-set in my ways. I went to apologize to the manager I involved in it the most, but she told me not to apologize. This 'drama' is all about the rules.

Details (Note, it hasn't really gotten ugly... at least not yet, but on internet forums, I see where these types of things can go, and it's not pretty):

There's a particular rule that was made recently that has made some people at my workplace really mad, but I agree completely with it. That rule is in regards to people listening to music from their phones outloud. It has been banned. I agree 100% with it, because it is inappropriate beyond reason. It is also very disrespectful, and it is overall incredibly irritating to me to have to hear atrocious noise coming out of cell phone speakers (even if what they're listening to is music I like, coming out of a cell phone speaker it's not good. And coming out of a cell phone speaker from a distance turned up really loud, it is seriously one of the most irritating noises ever, and the fact that people ever thought they could do this in a workplace, especially out on the floor in a grocery store with customers shopping is beyond me).

So once the the company made a ruling that we couldn't listen to music by earbuds anymore, and I had to for sure listen to that noise without anything to block it, I went to a manager and said "Hey, that shouldn't be allowed". And indeed it wasn't. I told her who was doing it, and another manager was with her... The one I apologized to, because it gets heated later. It gets taken care of. I go on my weekend, manager A isn't on this week, but manager B is. I see one from her shift (which is overlapping mine, but starts and ends several hours earlier) doing it, and I go to her about it. Then, the shift before this last one, the person who was specifically told not to do it last week was doing it anyway. I blew up, got a few managers involved. After that one is told to stop, another person next to him is doing it, and it's directly in my ears. I lose it even more, run into manager B as she's leaving for the night, and tell her about it (calmly, actually). She, after a long day, says she is always on duty even though she's 'clocked out', runs straight over and yells at them.

It was then that I felt really bad. I was glad because I want that awful noise turned off, and I really do not care for the individuals who were listening to the music either, because they're pretty much the definition of misogynistic and they make me sick. But I did not like that I made her blow up. She's a good manager, and I feel like it was all me who caused her to go over the edge.

Later on in that shift, I hear some of my other coworkers disgruntled with this decision, and they start going on about what happened earlier, and then another (who has become somewhat of a friend to me) says "Well, someone snitched on , and now they're trying to get back at us, by going to management when we do it [listen to music out loud]."

That's when I really took a step back and went "Oops". Because it was all me. I was the 'snitcher'. That earlier crew did not do anything to take revenge on us. It was all me. I was the one who told on everyone.

Dear lord. T.T

There's more drama than this. More drama surrounding me at this particular moment. I'm quite a handful to the management... I'm always a handful.

ANYWAY, as for how I'm feeling today... I'm happy because I had a good oboe lesson, where I showed some of the extra practice I put in this week. She mentioned a student before me that is on her second lesson and she was really impressed with her, and I'm like "OMG... NO... Be impressed with me! I have to make sure I'm impressive to you, too!" Lol... Drama... Again... Jesus. xD No, I will not consider this girl a rival to outdo or anything... I just want to show how much I care... T.T I want it to show... I want to be good for real.

ANYWAY [again] I'm excited because I get to go see a local professional orchestra play some of my top favorite classical pieces this evening! Sooo excited! =DDD

Honestly, this is ridiculous and their part and you did nothing wrong. The fact that the managers cannot be unified about the rule, and are showing solidarity for an employee that's doing the right thing is beyond me. I'm sure the owner wouldn't be too happy to hear about the drama of upset managers and smack talking lower employees.

You didn't do anything wrong. Don't fret about it.

Good to be happy about your music and the things that are more important. Jobs come and go, but your passion lasts through the ages----didn't mean to paraphrase MLP but I did.

As far as me today, I'm friggin happy how yesterday went and so excited that I'm going to take my wife to a restaurant she's wanted to go to for years but it's been hella hard to get reservations for, but I snagged them last month! Only 28 seats in the whole restaurant!

This morning, I starred (and co-starred) in my own documentary titled "When Stomachs Attack."  I do feel better, but I'm still recovering from the assault.

the bad news is, I've been bedridden all day, sick. :( if I'm still not feeling better by tomorrow, I may have to call in to work. not something I want to do, but I'd rather not risk getting sick up there.

the good news? we've got a snowstorm going on right now. :yay: I just LOVE seeing the snow fall! :squee:

I feel pretty great, thanks for asking. ;)

I'm just in love with this amazing fan made remix battle theme song about this hidden character in Undertale named "W.D. Gaster".

I've never actually played Undertale, but I know a lot about it from research.

Oh, and here's the song I was talking about:

I'm in my manic phase... basically I'm feeling overwhelmingly happy, hyperactive, and even a bit goofy. It's the feeling I get when I know there's good food and a good night ahead of me to look forward to.

Bummer that this isn't true happiness, but rather a wave of positive emotions brought on by an imbalance in hormones. Kinda depressing when you think about it.

But I'm feeling good right now, so I'll try not to think about it! :D

I think you must have misunderstood me somewhere... The managers are pretty much unified on this rule. The drama is not in regards to the managers, it is in regards to me and telling on people who are breaking the rule.

Anyway, as for how I'm feeling right now! I really enjoyed the concert! It was surreal seeing pieces - some I have listened to and loved for over a decade now - in real life.

...But I couldn't help but be made to feel a bit lonely. I sat with my oboe teacher and her husband, who had a friend, who also had a girlfriend. My mind went straight to "I'm the only single one here. T.T" lol

I'm in my depressive phase... basically I'm feeling overwhelmingly melancholic, lazy, and even a bit angry. It's the feeling I get when I know there's a bad day and a bad weekend to look forward to.

Bummer that this isn't true sadness, but rather a wave of negative emotions brought on by an imbalance in hormones. Kinda depressing when you think about it.

But I'm feeling sad right now, so I'll try not to think about it.
