Before I had this username I went by all sorts of names online. This accounts were used when I was online on sites like fanfiction, deviantart, and smackjeeves. Here were the names (some accounts are still out there):

Some might be wondering why? For a few years I had been putting names like that because either I got bored with the name or had taken a period break and either forgot the password(which I'm lazy to try and retrieve) or felt like making a new start. At times I tell my friends about the new username, and sometimes I don't. So why not just mention it now.

 

Though I came to a conversation with a friend of mine (a brony as well) and he convince me enough to just create a username and stick to it. So now came the hard part... Coming up with a username that might stick with for my entire internet life...

 

I didn't just wanted to use a name from a show and add number and small additional stuff; last one I did was by the name: 310sonicreaper89.

 

So now you're thinking why the name: Lunetiz; now you're thinking why not just type the reason rather than waste time typing other things. The reason is quite simply... The longer it is, the less likely that others would read through the entire thing and likely would just skip to the next forum response. Not saying anything to anyone reading, I just really feel paranoid at times and it could be the reason I don't premiere or show much of anything... Not trying to give an excuse or bring up any drama, so sorry if it seems that way... And now for the origins of the name

 

I took the word glasses(since I wear one) and using the foreign term "lunettes" and just twite it a bit. Nothing real special about the name, it just sounds nice. What? You expected something better since it's this long... well no?

Brace yourselves, I basically wrote a book. 

 

Ok, so when I graduated high-school, I started working at a grocery store managing a produce department.  I had been there for a couple of months, then this new girl started working as a cashier.  She was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.  I was smack dab crazy for her.  Back then, I had very little experience with dating women, so I had no clue what I was doing.  I sucked up to her, bought her stuff, complimented her, hoping that she would ask me out because I was to afraid.  Eventually (after like 4 months of this) I told her how I felt on a text message.  Of course, she said she didn't want a boyfriend and that she was just my friend.  I didn't take that for an answer, and 2 months later I asked again, this time on Nexopia.  Again, turned down.  Long story short, I had this AHA moment.  I realized that I needed to get this part of my life under control.

 

I have a friend I've known since kinder-garden, his name's Eric.  Eric and me are really really really tight, still to this day.  I brought this up to him, and he told me a similar story about himself and some chick we used to know in high-school.  I started doing research and came across something called pickup.  Pickup is the art of seducing women into sex, or whatever else you want.  At the time I thought this was exactly what I needed, but I learned later that it was the most deceitful, emotionless stuff.  So anyways, It turns out Eric was studying this stuff to, so we decided to go out and try it.  After a stupid amount of practice (18 hours a week for 8 months straight), we began to get pretty good.  We would do palm reading, wear stuff like big hat's or whatever to seem more interesting, use pickup lines, we studied the book influence, and how to speed read people, we became really good at lying, and our ability to manipulate women into sleeping with us was pretty consistent.  It felt good at the time, I had finally gotten what I wanted.  So 2 years later, we started teaching other guys this for money.  We would bring them out to night clubs, and tell them to talk to girls they wanted, and we would coach them through it.  We were making okay money, like 1500 a month each.  We didn't have a very large amount of guys, but we charged high hourly rates (Nightclub night rates of 50 an hour, daytime was cheaper, depending on where they wanted to go, 20-40 dollars). 

 

We started advertising in Edmonton on street posts, billboards, on Myspace, getting the word out to desperate men like we once were, alone and tired, we took complete advantage of them, granted our stuff worked most of the time, but the amount of work you had to do to achieve what you wanted was almost unnatural, normal guys never have to work this hard.  I quit my job at the grocery store, went on social assistance (I was not legally employed) and I still did the odd gig which combined brought in usually 2600-3200 a month.  We were finally going somewhere.    

 

I didn't want to use my real name, and all of the so called "cool" pick up artists had weird codenames, like Lance, or Mystery.  So I choose Deesinn.  Dee is my nickname, and sinn comes from a pick up artist called Sin.  I got the nickname Dee becuase my name is Sheldon, people used to call me Sheldog, and Dee comes from the dog.  So Deesinn.  We made flyers, delivered them to doorsteps 3 days of the week around 5 AM, we posted on Myspace, we put up flyers on billboards and street lamp posts downtown, everything we could to get a call.  But it wore on me, and I didn't feel to great after a short amount of time. 

 

Eventually, a few months later, I got real tired of working so hard to get girls, and teaching other men to do it on top of that. I couldn't be myself and had to lie all of the time, pretending to be this macho pick up artist.  I could have sex with women, but I couldn't keep them around.  I STILL didn't have it figured out, so I quit pick up forever.  It's been 2 years since that time, and now I finally realize that to get girls and keep em around, all you have to do is be honest, direct, and really believe in yourself and what you can do.  Treat her with respect, and make sure you actually feel for her, sexually, and as a human being.  And them I watched my little pony, but that's another story, and it involves a gay bath house coincidentally.     

 

Anyways, I keep the name because it just stuck, Eric still calls me Deesinn, and when we're ar parties or the bar, other people hear him call me that and ask why, so I retell this story and I guess that's enough. It's like I can't erase it, so I might as well keep it, I still thinks it sounds cool, but I think it means something more now-a-days.

Back in the day, I used treec_cynda, to portmanteau the names of me and my partner in Poke'mon Mystery Dungeon Red. I still use it on Cheezburger.

 

About seven years ago on a gaming forum (from which everybody from that time is now banned), Squiby was a big meme on said forum. This was a time where I thought you benefited from having different usernames everywhere, so I needed a new one for Squiby. My brain generated the first few syllables that came to mind, and what came up was Celario (I changed it to K to sound less gay [no rhyme intended]). I never changed it anywhere. My name has no meaning whatsoever, aside from signifying the last true nerd.

SwirlyBourbons came around when I started doing things outside the game and didn't want to go by an alias I didn't choose, so I pretty much paired two random words together and "SwirlyBourbons" was the result. I'm occasionally called "Swirly", but since most of my online friends are from LBP they've settled on Idgo. I'd rather be Swirly, but hey, you get what you're given.
